I don't have the answer but something has got to give.

Heck.....go get Chip Kelly and pay him 10 million.

This has become complacent insanity.

We all do here... this board has a lot of knowledge. kentdaddy, Buc, wlayton.. all of us know something is wrong here.

and the fact remains...an other coach with much less to work with is fired for basically producing similar results to Mark Richt.

This might bother some, but it is the truth. VD brought on the "repeated" line of 3 yards and a cloud of dust during his time on the sidelines.

It has been mentioned on this board that times have changed. Things like internet etc. Times have changed, but when I look closely, many of the coaching tactics remain the same.

Has been said for several years now that Richt/Bobo play calling often falls into an area of being "repeated". sadlerdawg/ogredawg/36869 have been the leaders in calling it like it is for many seasons. Quite frankly, it has shown its ugly face on more than one occasion this 2014 Season.

Coaches not unlike politicians can get very comfortable, and that is because they are "not being asked for more". Sorry, many of the UGA fans fall into that description, and refuse to budge.

As soon as the "noise" reaches a lower point, the "marketing group" will seize the opportunity to again appease those that "don't understand" that they are always in the bag. Willing to wager that the conversation on Mahogany Row right now is nothing more than . . . . "we have been here before". That is a fact, been here many times and the turnstiles keep turning. The "Group" understands this will "blow over". Up to a "few good men" to stand their ground against those that think we don't understand how it works in the "arena".

Those that truly care will keep the "heat on". The others will be up and running the same ground when the recruiting season is over, get'em in 2015. They don't seem to understand that Alabama is in the first final four, they are beating us on the recruiting trail, they are stock piled with talent. Saban/Smart understand how to utilize 4 and 5 star athletes. We don't.

Pinkel understands how to coach 2 and 3 star athletes up, sometimes a 4 or 5 star recruit finds his way to Missouri.

NC_Dawg mentioned the 2015 Schedule earlier in another thread. Take a look at this.

2015 UGA Football Schedule
•04/11 – G-Day Spring Game
•09/05 – ULM (Tickets)
•09/12 – at Vanderbilt (Tickets)
•09/19 – South Carolina (Tickets)
•09/26 – Southern U. (Tickets)
•10/03 – Alabama (Tickets)
•10/10 – at Tennessee (Tickets)
•10/17 – Missouri (Homecoming)
•10/24 – Open Date
•10/31 – Florida (at Jacksonville, FL)
•11/07 – Kentucky (Tickets)
•11/14 – at Auburn (Tickets)
•11/21 – Georgia Southern (Tickets)
•11/28 – at Georgia Tech
•12/05 – SEC Championship Game

A schedule like the one above, forget about the Final Four. Meaning depth of competition. Even with the above schedule, can still see us dropping 3 or 4 games.

A while back I started a thread asking this question. Try it again. Would anyone that posts here agree with the removal of Mark Richt?

Yes, I understand it will never happen, not with schedules like the one above, gives us a chance to win 8 or 9 games. That my friends is the key to success in Athens, Georgia not Lincoln, Nebraska. A once proud Nebraska football team that stayed on a path for too long, the same path that the University of Georgia is on now, and will continue.

Ellis Johnson fired by Gus Malzahn.

Wonder if Garner will be passed over by Gus, something along the lines of what Richt did when Garner had to operate under new defensive coordinator grantham?

I'd be shocked if Muschamp didn't go to AU.....not good for us either.

Thought SOS may consider hiring him.

There are other much more important things that are not good for us.

I'm a lot more worried about those things than I am Muschimp at AU.

I get it but say what you want, Muschamp/Malzhan would be formitable.

Nothing is going to change in Athens, so not wasting any more time worrying about that.
