Me either....I may be reading your post wrong but I'm having a problem following it? Are you saying TR is dirty? I don't know that one way or the other, but all teams have had players do dirty things at somepoint, doesn't make the coach dirty....if we were honest, we could all name a Dawg or two who made a dirty play or two.......

Just sayin that after Fairley went after AM and tried to end his season Rocker was high fiving Fairley after the play. So you decide if he teaches "dirty" or "condones" those type tactics. After all Rocker is getting the "credit" for Fairley winning the Outland Trophy.

CMR is going to rein his coaches in anyways so it really does not matter whom the hire is. Just can't see any of them being called a "great" hire until proven so.

As for any glimmer of hope for UGA I lost it ALL after the Vandy game and sealed it with the Nebraska loss. That is what I meant by BS, it is for me BS until proven wrong...

I'm with you ogre--prove me wrong.

I just wonder if in the heat of the game TR even realized what Fairley had done? For example, this past season my daughter had a great and legal tackle (soccer) on a girl in the thanksgiving tournament here in Atlanta. I was so excited that she did it with perfect form I jumped up and cheered--not realizing the other girl was hurt.

I felt like a heel, but from the angle I had, I ddin't notice it right away.

You remember Bill Goldberg at UGA? Look up what Dooley had to say about him........would be considered a dirty player today.

Some of those Thomas Davis hits could be seen as dirty.

Because a player gets overly aggresive does not mean they are being taught to hurt.

Besides, I bet if we look up SEC team personal fouls during CMR's tenbure, we are in the top third. Is CMR dirty??? Not a chance.

But it is football, not Curling and if you can't play right up to that fine line between fair and dirty, you will get beat. It's a game for warriors, not members of the school "book club" :cheer:

Not too far back in time we had a conversation about removing richt from his job. Most agreed that would be impossible as we do not have the attention of the privileged in Athens.

mark richt reached into his hat and pulled out the bunny, saving his space as head coach of the football team. Not the first time, and might not be the last time.

Feel that Jeremy Pruitt is in a different mode at the present. Good job, lots of talent. What Pruitt will do now and needs to do to climb the ladder of success is . . . . show some stability. Meaning remaining with this job long enough for others to see he has all of the parts that others like richt are missing.

First things first. Pruitt has to turn a confused defense into one that not only understands, but one that young high school talents will want to play for. Living proof, Nick Saban. Just for the record, Fisher is eating Florida's lunch down this way. At this point, Jimbo can have any talent in the State of Florida, and get this, at any position, whether lineman or running back.

Understandable that ogredawg says show me. He too has seen mark richt reaching into his "magic hat" and saving his butt several times.

If you can't get to him in the bunker he is in, you have to get next to him through other means. Is Jeremy Pruitt capable of that? Don't know, do know that I will cross my fingers and hope he can change the direction of Georgia football. Makes no difference in civilian life or a monopoly as the one being run in Athens has been for far too long. You have to gain entrance to make change.

Same thing happened many years ago. Georgia fans that understood football wanted a change from the "stuff" that VD had pushed on them for years. Georgia folks grew incredibly close to Erk and it was his defensive work that had Sanford Stadium rocking. VD did not like that. He also had the power, but the higher ups knew it was time for change. So VD was "kicked up" to athletic director. Huge mistake. First VD saw Erk leave for a Middle Georgia School and become very successful. Without the big bucks I might add. What happened in Athens after Erk left. Check the internet about VD's hires, shameful.

Sorry again, there is a lot of history in our program. Sorry again to say, a lot it was BS. richt has learned from the masters on retaining a multi million dollar job.

Maybe Jeremy Pruitt or someone can aid in a quick removal of mark richt. Be aware of this, the Athens "Group" will have richt's smiling face out there for all to see and take credit for any success UGA has. Good man . . . . No, good "rich" man. 2017 eh?

Pruitt came to Georgia for one reason it's hard to repeat so if he stayed at FSU and they didn't win it all some blame would fall own him.

He comes to Georgia we Just do half as good as last year he's a great coach his stock goes up he gets more money or a better job.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.
