Florida has a bigger mess than we do. I'm frustrated, but we didn't lose to Ga Southern.

AD5, have mentioned to you before that your presence is felt on this board. Watching the hits and reads to posts, your numbers are very high.

Interesting comment that Nick Saban had concerning Scott Cochran's methods. Nick is not one to pass too many "atta boys" around.

I watch the video, I see a man that loves what he is doing. Type of guy that does not worry about the number of figures on his paycheck. Not many of those around this day and time and takes me back to days gone by.

You are the first to come to this board that I know of and has not gone the "name game" route. That is not a slap at anyone, that comes from reading and trying to understand comments about coaching replacements over a number of years.

Actually shows the strength of the folks that take the time to get involved with "real football discussion". Sometimes it gets a bit wacky here, but for the most part it is "controlled" disagreements. Always good to see someone step out the box and offer unknown possibilities. Good on you.

Wartdawg, from where I sit much of the above also sits in your corner. It truly is refreshing to read "stuff" that does not pass our way through media outlets like the AJC and some others.

Where is thriller?

You guys are tough fans. You are in a very competitive conference and win a lot more than you lose. There are 5 or 6 teams on your schedule that have won NC's since the dawgs. They want to win just as bad as you do...

I would say there are 20 programs that have the ability to compete for NC's. Of those 20 programs maybe 5 have the players in any given year. One of those teams needs to get a little lucky and win all there games. Last year was the year UGA could have won with a little luck. One year later everyone wants a new coach. UGA was lucky to win 3 or 4 or their games when they won their NC back in the early 80s. They had a better team the few years after they were champs, just didnt get the breaks. Of course bama is on a roll now, but thats what happens when you win a few in a row. It will prolly be Southern Cal on a roll in a few more years.

Not really trolling, just giving an opinion from the outside looking in. UGA could do a lot worse than MR and MR would not have any trouble finding another job.

DAWGtm, I am saving that clip. Like Wartdawg said, "thangs ain't rite in gatorville".

FSU will not put the brakes on against Florida, they remember Steve Spurrier and some of the things that he did and said about the Tallahassee team when he was coaching the gators. What goes around, comes around.

Little Georgia football talk. Our team in pads going at it. Couple of reasons for that me thinks. Computers seem to point to a close game. One coach in particular had better have his side of the ball ready to play. Paul Johnson knows that his time at GT will shorten or end with a loss to UGA.

GT like Georgia Southern, does not throw the football a lot. Believe stopping the run means more than shooting for quarterback sacks. Here I am again asking for a four man front. Four man front meaning, hands in the dirt. If the GT offensive line can double team a member of the three man front running the option, hard to get them off of the field.

This is a game where Herrera has to show up. GT plays the type of football that Herrera can really look good at from his linebacking slot.

Paul Johnson will try and put heat on Hutson Mason from the get go. I would. Offensive line play critical in this game. New quarterback, voice change, makes things a bit different without AM. Glad to see some of our receivers back, should make Hutson's duties a little easier.

Buc, this board is full of special folks no doubt. Best there is. I appreciate the words, and believe those apply to many, youself included. Sadler and I have had a few disagreements, but one thing we will agree on is something is not right with our Dawgs? Something has to change.

Miss seeing Dawgs play the game Thomas Davis, and Greg Blue played. They might get beat, but you sure as hell knew you didn't want to line up and hit them again. Think teams still feel that way about facing our D? Many more on those defenses that I have not named. Man, do I miss those days.

Best thread in quite sometime. Very good.
