I believe CMR is a honest man.
Also believe none of us would just "walk away" from the job. Those above him will have to make that decision.....that is WHY you sign contracts with buyout clauses....protections are in place for all involved. All parties agreed to the contract so just because CMR doesn't walk away, I certainly don't think that would imply he wasn't being an honest man.
If I've been successful for many years and have a few years that was down a bit, I sure as heck wouldn't walk away....and I consider myself honest to a fault. My mindset would be if I've been near the top levels before, I could do it again.....competitive people have that mindset.
To head off an argument, I'm NOT backing CMR to stay, I also feel change is needed, but who would walk away from a premier job, whether in sports, an attorney or any other profession??
Real easy for us "to say" but certainly not realistic imo.
True.....but you wouldn't walk away from your profession....neither would I.
Honesty is a strong character trait that is irrelevant to him walking away....nobody in America would walk away including the both of us.[/quo
sadler, don't know what you walked away from but you are a much bigger man than me to walk away from $3+ million a year job that you love doing just to please the fan base and keep my honesty tag in place.
Wasn't my point in the 1st place.

Not really sure what exactly you're saying here, so I'll do us both a favor and just drop it.
