Agree.... blue faced.
We've been through this before. When we opened with our double losses a couple of years back. Heard Richt was tired... We had people posting that Richt wanted to devote himself full time to missionary work. We pointed to evidence of him selling one of his homes. If I remember correctly we even had people posting supposed scoops about how they knew MR was going to walk away at the end of the season... his heart wasn't in it anymore, etc
Yet here he sits today, still going at it with his version of "hard".
Don't count on MR walking away ... just like Bowden, he is not leaving voluntarily any time soon, and certainly not because he wants to do "the right thing" and walk away while we're in the window of opportunity to get Smart.
He thinks he's still got it, desire and ability. As much as we talk about what a great guy he is and all that, he's just as interested in that money as anyone else would. I'm sure as long as we're still willing to hand him millions then he will be sure UGA is where he's supposed to be.
I'm all for having dreams, but I think the dream of MR walking away in time for us to get Smart is one of those dreams where we need a pipe.
God Bless and Go Dawgs
