Agree about the imcompletions, and hate to say this, even putting it out there in certain situations, a pick on a deep ball is not the worst thing. 3rd and long from between the 40's. Take a chance. If it gets picked, make the tackle, and flip the field. Supposed to be able to do that with the kicking game, but....
GO DAWGS
Lord knows it would be better to flip the field that way other than to attempt a punt, lol

Yep.. he seems at times to be a man of extremes. Either pass or bomb happy, or he goes into a shell. We all know we need balance, and not just betwen run and pass. Sometimes there is a necessary balance between the types of passes you run. Can't become predictable and sometimes we do.

Also my point is that it may NOT loosen their D up very much because they can man up against our receivers and still stack the box. They won't have to use safeties over the top...zones etc. They will simply whip our WR's one on one and play the run.
Hope I'm wrong....hope AM hits someone deep 3 times etc.....think we will definetly struggle to move the ball.
I agree with that wlayton... just looking for some way to keep them just a tiny bit honest. As good as they are, they can possibly still be beaten with a double move and play action. If not beaten, at least put it in their heads and one of them may make just a small hesitation jumping the run threat. Plus if they want to play man on us all day... we can send a couple deep and run those DB's right out of the play with their backs to AM and then we can screen behind that. I just think if we go in there with the same ultra conservative game plan we had in Nashville regarding the levels we're ready to throw the ball into... it's gonna be a long day.
