If we approach this game with the same dink and dunk conservative super ball control passing game we
used in Nashville, we are not going to be able to run the ball at all.
We have to at least make the Gayduhs respect the fact that we will try and go over the top, or they
will keep creeping down until they look like they have 9 in the box.
WD, I agree with you but WHO do we have that can stretch the field against UF's DB's??? That is a big problem in my book.....Bennett, no.....Wooten, no....Davis, maybe but not there yet as a route runner, so no....TE's, no.....we basically don't have anybody that can beat their NFL DB's deep....imo

It doesn't take a lot of complexity in route running to attempt a stop and go, a straight fly or deep post.
Those are all on page one of "Routes 101".
I don't even think you have to complete the play... you've just got to try it a couple of times to keep them
from creeping closer and closer to the line.
Just think we have to try something to keep them somewhat honest. We play it straight up, mano-a-mano against
UF's D if they know we wont throw the ball more than 15 yards down the field... we will be in for a long day.

Hoping UGA has some players step up. If we don't see something besides what we have seen, I don't like our chances. Can blame the coaches all we want, but players in between the lines have the right to step up at any time. Some things are not coachable, they are instinctive. That is from an offensive stand point.
Defense, agree with JHC and Buc, keep it very simple and stop their run.

Wart, I do agree that we have to take some shots. Agree about the imcompletions, and hate to say this, even putting it out there in certain situations, a pick on a deep ball is not the worst thing. 3rd and long from between the 40's. Take a chance. If it gets picked, make the tackle, and flip the field. Supposed to be able to do that with the kicking game, but....

Cannot disagree with the above post, agree actually. Also, might want to keep your/our eyes on Loucheiz Purifoy #15 when he is on the field. AM will go after him. He does some nice things, but he also has lapses. My bet is AM has him lined up if weather permits. Davis deep, Bennett crossing route or back shoulder sideline.
