That's ok Duck, I was blasted and called names the week before and had my "civil" response deleted by the moderator.

It doesn't take multiple paragraphs to say there is and has been a problem on defense for years.

It doesn't take multiple paragraphs to say Bobo has got to quit going conservative. UGA offense (even the reserves) only clicks with an aggressive down the field approach.

It doesn't take multiple paragraphs to say this team needs a real special teams coach.

I think anyone who doesn't think special teams are just as important as the other two facets of the game is just living in denial. If a head coach said we aren't going to have an OC, we will just coach by committee with the line, backs, QB and receivers coaches all pitching in, or no DC, just have the line, linebackers, and secondary coach all splitting the responsibility, that coach would (rightfully so) be run out of town, but that is what we are doing with the 3rd area of the game.
These special teams blunders have cost us practically every game this year (and many in the past few years) and will continue to do so until somebody with some expertise takes it over.

The Georgia fan base is a motley crew, composed of bashers, beans, sunshine pumpers, disneys, doomsdayers,...and the list goes on! Been that way LONG before these interwebz made it easier to speak your mind behind a keyboard, rather than standing among a group of fellow tailgaters. Don't allow an opposing point of view to get under your skin, they are as entitled to their opinion; no matter how misguided it may be, as you!

The one thing that separates DT from the "other" blogs and forums, is the spectrum of the posters and their acceptance of one another,.....at least that's how it was when I was a regular!

I really don't want anyone to quit posting, even (especially?) if I disagree with them. I sure hope nothing I said has put you off.

I can honestly say that I have lost my confidence in CTG as a DC.

We are going to need the D to step up in order to get to Atlanta....right now, with these injuries, UF will beat us....maybe others as well.

Just don't get it with ST's.....how hard can it be to AT LEAST not get your punt blocked???

What's the status on Rumph?....and will they take the redshirt off of Turman?

I don't think Richt mentioned rumph with the media yesterday. Could be wrong. Last I heard he was still battling with that hamstring.
