Takes me back to grade school. Mess up on a paper, teacher says to me, go back and read chapter two in the history book, take the test again. If you fail to pass the second time, gather pencils and paper and copy the entire chapter two. Amazing how well I did in the second testing. There are methods that can be employed to get ones full attention. In that case it was not the teachers fault. I am beginning to wonder how much of the confusion on the defense is the teachers fault.
Honestly, tired of hearing how well we do in the red zone. I like keeping folks out of the end zone, but looking over the scores thus far, someone is getting through.
Florida has ten times the defense that Tennessee has. Appears they have found a quarterback that can put points on the board. 30-10 over Arkansas. Florida defense gives up 10 points.
Auburn is coming, 30-22 win over Ole Miss. Auburn defense gives up 22 points.
Not a time for excuses, it is time to settle this defensive problem now. Talent is not the problem in Athens, but there apparently is a problem, based on the number of games played thus far.
Offense injured, maybe it is time for Grantham's defense to help the offense out. JMHO.

We are going to need the D to step up in order to get to Atlanta....right now, with these injuries, UF will beat us....maybe others as well.
Just don't get it with ST's.....how hard can it be to AT LEAST not get your punt blocked???
What's the status on Rumph?....and will they take the redshirt off of Turman?
I don't think Richt mentioned rumph with the media yesterday. Could be wrong. Last I heard he was still battling with that hamstring.

I never thought I'd have to say this, but Grantham owes Bobo BIG TIME. Tennessee has no business scoring that many points on us (or ANYONE for that matter).
Right now I'm starting to think a straight, old fashioned 4-3 is what we need. With the offense absolutely decimated as it is with injuries, vanilla is sounding like a really nice flavor right now. From a 4-3, you can still do some pretty fancy and creative blitzing, you can go zone, cover 2 or just plain old man to man. I don't know if I would call it "dumbing down", since much of the NFL does it - maybe it's just going to what is most familiar and NATURAL for the players. We need players to be lined up and ready, not listening to the orchestra conductor shout out positions and assignments while the opposing team is running a hurry up.
