I did not watch all of the game. Given that Gurley had a ton of carries it seems someone learned something from the idiot show in climpson.

It sounds like you only see what you want to see.

Please tell me the last time you've came on this board and said dang Richt coached a good game.

I get you do not like Richt as Georgia's head coach, believe me I'm on the fence with the man myself. However, if you are going to criticize him when he loses, you need to be just a critical when he wins.

Tell me what were your thoughts of the coaching last Saturday.

I do not have to offer him praise when he does what he is paid for. This is not everyone gets a trophy Pop Warner football. If I am your boss and you meet my expectations you keep your job. If you far exceed them you get attaboys and bonuses. Richt has not accomplished anything of note since 2005.

Hi guys...been apart of the board for awhile but really do not post much but just keep reading all of this stuuf over how CMR is mediocre...yes we have not won a NC while he has been here and who is to say we will not? But haven't we won the East the past two years and came within a down of going to the NC game? I saw a man that coached his rear end off and saw the players play with much passion. I don't think other than CNS that there is a more suitable coach for UGA then CMR right now. We put Richt on the hot seat and there will be bedlam in Athens with recruiting taking the biggest hit and the so called "DEPTH" we are trying to build will run away faster than cockraoches when you flip a light switch...I do not want to be the next Tenn. program or Auburn program...and I mean no disrespect to anyone I just believe that CMR has done enough to not have his job called for after a loss...jmo.

ugadado, remember you well. Your post in the Tereshinski thread (#5 post) meant a lot to all on this board. Here is hoping that you "come out and play" with your friends on this board.

Not going to say a lot, but regardless of which side of the fence any of us sit on, we wear the same colors.

ugadado, really glad to read one particular word in your post . . . ."DEPTH". We are playing catch up, but when we are behind, have to run a little faster. Something that I saw last Saturday between the Hedges . . . .

uga.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=435663

For some reason, was not sure that Justin Scott-Wesley would truly step up and back his words up with actions. Some or most say that Reggie Davis is the fastest man on our team. If Reggie Davis is faster than Justin Scott-Wesley, wow!

ugadado, wish Davis had caught that slant pass in the South Carolina game, he is apparently an eye opener. Great throw from AM, just have to get over the "butterflies" and anyone that has played the game understands that. There were only 90 something thousand folks in Sanford Stadium, and a few million watching on television. Wake up young puppy . . . . you know that I jest. :woohoo:

Toughest game on our schedule in my opinion . . . . LSU. Hands down. Once upon a time LSU came to Athens and there was a "strange" call in the endzone. Seems AJ Green messy up. Leave that one alone, in the past, much like the NCAA and selling a "single" jersey.

Again, glad that you are back. Feel sure you will be welcomed by many.

Go Dawgs . . . . Coach Them Up! :)

I’ve read all of this and there legitimate concerns on both sides of this issue. I’ve been a basher of Bobo since we BEAT Alabama in 2007 26-23(Memory recalls on the year and score). Even though we won that game, it was his play calling that made it a close one when it didn’t need to be.

The play calls are consistently conservative and predictable by opposing defenses and is the primary reason for mediocrity on the offense over the years IMO. That’s my view looking from the outside looking in and CMR is ultimately responsible for the entire team. Take a look back and remember how long it took to get CWM out of Athens. He’s tolerant of “average results”. It takes him too long to make adjustments. And that’s probably his biggest fault.

With that said, I feel that CMR with McGarity’s leadership, we’re “turning” a corner. We haven’t completely made the corner yet though from what I’ve seen but it’s heading in the right direction. It’s just not as fast as I would like though. As Buc said earlier, depth has been the problem in one area or the other depending on what year we’re talking about. There have been weaknesses somewhere every year. Depth will build IMO and beating the chickens was huge in that regard. Now we just have to win the SECCG and that will bring in more talent.

Look, the Clemson game could’ve easily been a win with 2 tackles that should’ve been made, 2 less mistakes, and a more aggressive approach on offensive play calls. It was a close game and it was the first game out of the gate against a top 10 team. Play them this Saturday AT Clemson AGAIN; it’s a win without a doubt.

I didn’t want to get into a long post on this and I could go on and on. Let’s play this season out. With the best offense in the nation, we should be able to run the table from here on out as long as Bobo doesn’t get conservative on us. And that goes for CMR too.
