growl, talk like this from JHC really pumps me up. In the interview he is not claiming to be all that. Also says some things about Tray Matthews that goes to prove that these young men are in this "together". This group "might" jell quicker than many think.

Have to bring this subject up. Am I the only one that thinks that there might be some "friction" on the offensive side of the ball? AM has left campus a couple of times to get tutoring elsewhere. Did that have an effect on our offensive coaches? When AM returned from Oklahoma, Mark Richt did not seem overjoyed, would not give a comment on AM going for instruction. Said he had not talked with AM at that point.

I hope that all involved on the offense have not gotten the "big head". Over the years, have seen that happen more than one time in my years of watching UGA Football. It not only happens at UGA, not saying that it is, happens at many universities and high schools every year.

Look at the link below and check Mike Bobo's face when he makes his last comment about "his" offense. I do know that Bobo and Grantham are going hard at each other. Not a bad thing, just hope that it pays DIVIDENDS.

Have to add this . . . . Surprised me that the offense used a "trick" play in the game Saturday. Not opposed to it, just caught me off guard. Two coaches that want to win, Bobo/Grantham, offense/defense . . . . I like it, keeps the pups on their toes.

I did notice that there seemed to be a little bit of a rift, but thought it was my imagination working overtime. I guess when folks think that things are going well then why would someone else feel like they have to change it. Nothing wrong with improving yourself and if it works, beauuuutiful, if it does'nt, fix it nowwww. I guess even Head Coaches and Coordinators can get their panties in a wad just like anyone else, get over it and play football cause we got a Championship to win. Sorry for the late post, but have to work sometimes.

Dawg With Style, I really believe that this is going to be a team (2013) that all of us will have a hard time not wrapping our arms around.

Many in the media have talked about our 2012 football team. Most of the talk was about the defense, understandable. UGA was supposed to be all that . . . . on defense. When I look back at 2012, outside of the South Carolina game, we did give up yardage and have breakdowns, but we were in every game.

One comment that JHC made that caught my attention was when speaking about Tray Matthews. Compared TM to AO, Alec Ogletree. With all of the "failings" of AO, he was one of the best football players that I have seen playing football in Athens. Do I think that AO was/is a better linebacker than JJ (Jarvis Jones) yes. One thing that has to be taken into consideration is why.

Jarvis Jones is better than good, he moves past extreme. If you believe that, as I do, then you must know that I think Alec Ogletree is a very gifted athlete. On the gray matter level, AO did not come close to JJ. My opinion.

AO has not yet learned how to THINK. Puppy plays on athletic ability alone. When he moves on to the NFL, there will be a STOP sign. The STOP sign will be something that he has never seen before. The caliber of athletes that he will play with and against will be the 1 in 1000 players that ever get the chance to wear the colors.

Buc got off of the path above, try to bring it back. The talent that I think I see in Athens is head and shoulders above the talent on defense that I have seen since Mark Richt took the reigns. Now remember, that is my opinion.

I will never say that I think that Clemson will beat us in their stadium. I do not believe that SS and his group will beat us in Athens. Buc does believe that we will face off against either Alabama or TAM in Atlanta. Will also say this, don't care which one. We have the talent and agree with wlayton and one or two others, this group of "puppies" will grow up to be "Dawgs".

growl, getting chatter here is sometimes like pulling teeth. If you want to talk football and UGA, you and I can do that. After all, this is a board for "conversation". I enjoy talking to you Chief.

Dead on about JJ and AO, Buc. AO has more pure "physical ability". JJ has a FAR, FAR, FAR, FAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR more professional attitude about "getting the job done". In the end, I think some NFL team is going to be happy with either one of those guys. My OWN tolerance is pretty low for those who just can't grow up. I'd much rather work with a guy who is already a man in his ATTITUDE. Good on you, JJ. AO - figure it out NOW, and you'll never regret the lack of DUIs and the clean arrest record.
