Growl, after posting the above, came across this video. I truly hope that #9 will wake up and play to his athletic ability. Sky is the limit for AO. Some have probably seen this, others that I know of have not.

Thanks Buc, that is some pretty good info and should open some eyes. Like you I hope AO keeps his head on straight and becomes a leader wherever he gets drafted. Personally hope he plays in Atlanta next year.

Smith loves defense, AO would be a huge lift for the Falcons. Don't think he will get past 15 Growl. Would not be surprised to see AO in the first 12. Just needs to separate himself from those that will be in his "back pocket". For sure I know one that will be there. Not calling his name, all of us know who that will be.

Should be no excuses this year if we get our collective asses handed to us if big rushing numbers are put up against this D line rotation.

ogredawg, this might be one of the problems that has been answered. Paragraph from the link you posted.

Rodney Garner, who left before the bowl game to return to his alma mater Auburn, coached the defensive line where Mike Thornton played 19 total snaps until the regular season finale against Georgia Tech and defensive end Ray Drew averaged less than five snaps a game in the first nine games of the season.

Buc, guess Garner thought Jenkins and Geathers were 350 lb tri-athletes.
