Who's carrying Who?

Seems there are differing opinions about our offensive line.

Mike Bobo said that the offensive line did their job. Mark Richt seemed to agree.

Will Friend is not pleased at all, and the offensive line is his reason for coaching at UGA. Offensive line not performing, Friend is bringing the heat not only to the players, will have folks looking at him. I admire Friend for calling it like he sees it. Moving a couple of first team players to the second unit, good on him. This is the kind of coaching that has been missing along our offensive front for far too long. My opinion.

Anytime, whether Spring Game or Regular Season we give up that many sacks, something to be concerned about.

Grantham and company appear to have the defensive teams attention. Couple of the players said they were coming into the Spring Game with intentions of settling the issue as to which side of the ball is ready to compete.

I understand that the offensive line needs some time to get a feel for each others game. Lack of effort, no way is that acceptable. Friend will get this bunch together one way or another. Reminds me a bit of Erk. That is a good thing.

There has been some discussion about Theus recently. Found the following video interesting in terms of where Theus lined up. Will Friend is not messing around.

Totally agree with what Will Friend is doing, sometimes the not so subtle move to second team says more to get a players attention than anything else. That bruise on the ego hurts much more than the physical bruise to a lot of the kids physchy, seems to get their attention pretty quickly.

Bobo needs to stick to the QB's and let Friend stick to the OL

Went back and watched Theus and Taylor in Tuesdays scrimmage. John Taylor is all that. Theus cannot handle Taylor, doubt seriously that anyone can beat this young man physically.

In the video above, number 94 has incredible quicks when the ball is snapped. JT in my opinion will be starting on the defensive line from game one or soon thereafter. Anyone on this board see another player that is better or as good? Real good move on Chris Wilson's part.
