wlayton, lot to be said for experience. Could or should be a big year for AM returning to play pitch and catch with receivers he is on the same page with.
One thing that really impressed me was getting the ball to the tight ends a bit more. Read an article recently that Jay Rome was giving high praise to AM. End of the season could see Rome starting to take the game of football seriously. Personally, don't think our team has come close to tapping the talent that Rome will show in 2013. Rome seemed to start a bit slow, maybe not on the same page with the coaching staff at one point, but by seasons end, he was a different player with a great attitude.
Staying one more year is not going to diminish AM's chances in the NFL. The group that surrounds him will play their butts of for him, knowing this will be the last time between the Hedges with AM. Can only guess how much AM will mean to the others wanting to replace him, and AM will share everything with the boys.
Notice I did not mention the running backs . . . . AM's years of experience, being able to read defenses, works out great when he changes a play at the line and hands off rather than going with the first play called. That as all of us know comes with EXPERIENCE. AM is not lacking in that department.
