New Commits and Building or Rebuilding

Erk should have been the HC at UGA period. I suffered thru Goff and Donnan. Matter of fact played against Goff. Just not sold that we are headed in the right direction. Now maybe in 2 years I will change my tune. But not ready to do that after 1 good year out of the last 4. Going to be losing a lot talent. The entire D could be gone and most likely will be. Most of the 0 will be back and we will see just how good it is next year and who and how they are utilized.

ogredawg, Brother, we are not on different pages. I have great respect for your opinion(s). You are a hell of a lot more than just "chatter". That is what I think, and you know I have said the same to you for two or three years. Football wise, I don't doubt you, know where you played, know some of the folks that came after you, still spend time with Greg.

ogredawg, for the most part, way I think, tired of watching everything going on around us and with the exception of Alabama, sometimes LSU, and it might be a short time for TAM.

Beginning to see some of the depth that is needed, and you have mentioned "depth" more than one time over the last two or three years.

Beginning to believe that the 2013 defense could be a huge surprise not only to the BullDawg Nation, of which you and I are a part, could be the surprise package in the SEC. One thing that we both know, you don't play defense in the SEC, go home.

Just believe with the talent that will be behind AM, and of course on the offensive line, would take a serious messy up to not score points.

Really need our kicker to get "involved" and believe he will. Can't play SEC football without a kicker and punter, simple fact.

Simple fact for me . . . . I hope that it takes you a while to think all will be ok. Folks like you keep folks like me in line. When I look around and see what is going on around us, like the stability that I "think" I see with this group of coaches. ogredawg, one thing that I know I see this season, whether "luck" or whatever, there were some changes at the top.

Have a simple question to anyone that posts here. Anyone think that Erk would have done more in Athens than every coach that VD appointed prior to Mark Richt?

Erk should have been the man to succeed VD and would have done worlds better than what we
ended up with.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

Couple of things that have crossed my mind. Maybe some of you folks.

Reading some of the "pull me ins" from different blogs and the AJC and other media sources. Playing for those clicks with stirring up the headlines about Reuben Foster. If Foster wants to be a Dawg, seems to me that he has had ample time and exposure to our coaching staff to make up his mind. While he might be a very intimidating high school force, college football is a bit different. Next level, coaches do what is necessary to bring these young fellows back down to earth.

From where I stand, if we can get more support on the offensive line, that is my first choice. Don't want to see our offensive line being the weak link on our football team again. In my opinion, that has been Mark Richt's weakness when building a team. Anyone that reads this board understands that I believe Will Friend will put an end to errors made in years past. Still say that he did an amazing job getting this group to improve by years end. Folks it ain't the coaching of the offensive line, it is simply a matter of getting heads out of butts and building that front wall. Recruiting.

If I had to make a choice between Tunsil and any other player still on our board. Tunsil hands down. Adams is an amazing football player, would love to have him, but he falls in the same category that I put others in . . . . time for players like Tunsil.

My thoughts . . . . :)
