OK,let's follow the path that has been laid out for us. New coaches in the SEC. Strike fear in anyone's heart?

The way that I read the coaching changes goes something like this . . . . there was a scramble for those that got a job in the SEC. Why the heck would any coach leave the Big Whatever to play in the SEC?

The answer is really easy. What happened above the Mson/Dixon was this . . . . Urban Meyer/Urban Liar scared the spit out of the coaches in the Big Whatever. Said to the coaches from the different universities that he did not or would not go along with their way of recruiting. First one to bail, Wisconsin football coach. He will probably last about two years in the SEC. Surprising that Arkansas chose this coach.

Buc, I think Bret Bielema will do ok at Arkansas. I don't know that they will knock off the group of holders from Tuscaloosa or LSU or A&M, but I think they will consistently win 8-9 games. He uses a lot of grown man football in his offense.

If Gus gets a top notch D-coordinator they will be tough. BVG ain't the man.

Stoops will win 7-8 games a year starting in 2014.

I really hope Strong doesn't end up at TN. He will hurt our recruiting and he is a pretty good coach as well.

To me, the SEC isn't getting any easier.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

36869, totally agree with the SEC is not getting any easier.

Not really worried about GM at Auburn, Strong at Tennessee, have a problem with that.

Reports are out that Strong has turned down UT. That's three coaches now to decline their offers. Word is Larry Fedora may be next in their sites. Makes one wonder why coaches are not interested in UT. Storied program, new facilities... Hmmm...

I think that most people see Tennessee as being in complete chaos right now. Lane kiffin backed out, Dooley fired. Personally I think they jumped the gun on Dooley I would of atleast given him another year. I also think that's driving some potential coaches away, if they can't get some time to get everything they want implemented then why come?

bulldawg36869, BVG thing is capturing my imagination at this point. We continue to get chatter from Reuben Foster and never has or does he mention BVG, it is always Trooper Taylor. Athletes control a lot more in college football than maybe we know.

Guess we got the message this morning about Strong turning Tennessee down backing the things that DawgnLA mentioned in his post.

Believe that TAM will be more than a handful even after Johnny Football leaves campus. They have what appears to be the right head coach and of course they have expanded their recruiting area a lot. Would not be surprised to see a UGA pledge change and head to the TAM campus. We will see.

Strength of the Stoops family has always been stout defense. You are right, Kentucky will profit from this move.

On target with your statement about the SEC ain't getting any easier.
