I want to see UT go home in shame. Too many UT fans in our area of the world.

If it werent for UF having to win against UT, that would have been the greatest game ever. The UT fans began to shut their mouths about their beat down of NC St. The power house team of the ACC  ;)

Beginning to get very excited about this team. Love their confidence, TEAM play. The offense is always rooting for the Defense, and the Defense is always rooting for the Offense. Seems to be a very close-knit group.

GO DAWGS!!!

WoodstockDawg, I live in one of the "House Divided" households. You guessed it: UGA/UT. This is a MUST WIN for me . . . imagine having to sit through a loss and what life is like for the entire next YEAR for me when we lose. Unacceptable.

DAWGS - please win this game . . . win at all costs . . . I'm okay with that.

Edit [If you see a little blue Subaru hatchback with a UGA/UT house divided tag on the front, that is, in all likelihood, me.]

Must be something in the water thriller, my daughter just started dating a Gator last month.

He's a good kid but if he's going to stay around he's got to convert to Jedi side and away from the dark side!

Appears that most articles and posts that I read say the same thing about Tennessee vs Georgia.

UGA better be on their toes, UT is bringing a passing game the likes of what we have not seen in a long time. What really in my mind makes this UT passing outfit better than last years group is the receiving corps. Da'Rick (sp?) had a lot of talent but there were missing parts . . . the offensive line and the receiver and quarterback were not on the same page.

This year their offensive line should be better, year of experience certanly helps any football player. Tennessee has changed from the 4/3 to the 3/4, so the offense has had up until this game to work against their 3/4 and if I were a betting man, the defensive coordinator has had UT defense running some of UGA's defensive schemes.

One thing missing with the UT defense. They do not have the same players that UGA has, nor do they have the depth that UGA does. Grantham understands passing attacks, coming from the NFL, he has seen very good quarterbacks and receivers, UT is nothing new to CTG.

AM plays anywhere close to the way he played in the Vandy game, UT is in for a long afternoon in Sanford Stadium.

This game should and probably will come down to personnel, as most games do. There is no doubt that Georgia has personnel starting and depth that does not lose a lot when on the field.

Just a couple of thoughts. This is a must win. Coaches have the Rocky Top music blaring during practice, think maybe that the coaches are as focused as the players. Coaching in Athens appears to have taken a turn to the positive. :)

2X for me. Wife graduated from UT. Funny thing happened the other day. Coming upto the game our 11 yr old daughter asked her who she liked more UGA or UT. I explained that mom graduated from UT and wanted them to win. After daughter left wife said, "Funny though. I never went to many games while at UT, and after going to 16 yrs of UGA games I feel like a DAWG!

Buc,
The thing that I have noticed while reading articles and watching interviews, is that whenever asked about UT's players our guys are aware of their abilities, but are quick to point out UGA has some good players too. Like the when the O is asked a question about the D they talk intelligently about that unit, and vice versa. That is sign of good team. Glad to see that at UGA

Truth . . . .

This team, offense and defense are not willing to take a back seat to any team. Looking forward to the game Saturday TN Dawg.

Notice that Richt is not comfortable with his special teams. Here again, Mark Richt pointed his finger at some players . . . . haven't seen that before. Of course in the offseason Richt also mentioned paying closer attention to the Special Teams.

In my opinion, one of if not the toughest thing to do on a football field is to be a punt returner, lots of factors involved. Not just a simple catch and run play. More bad things can happen on a punt return than any other play during a game in my opinion.
