Changes to special teams.
Richt also reiterated that veterans and starters are expected to contribute on special teams.“In the past we’d say: If your heart’s not in it, don’t get on the team,” Richt said. “You want guys whose heart’s in it. But this year, we’re saying: You change your heart. If you don’t want to be on the special team, you change your heart.”One example: Star linebacker Jarvis Jones is working on the punt unit.“A lot of guys, especially older guys, want to get put in those positions,” Jones said. “Because they know to win the big games we need special teams.”(Richt's words from UGA)

Glad to see CMR's continuing where he left off last year with the kick coverage teams. Half way through the season he started putting starters in on the coverages.

The site below is loaded with good one on one's with the freshmen. Really makes me happy to read and hear JCH say that he likes playing safety. Score one for the Dawgs.
Also appears that Jordan Jenkins and John Theus took up where they left off prior to their arrival in Athens. Hard not to get excited about this group of freshmen players.
Jordan Jenkins on Special Teams . . . . something serious going on in Athens. Keep that beard Richt.

Still very high on Brandon Kublanow. Really think this young terror will be playing center at UGA. Lots of forecasters are saying guard, we will see soon enough. Check out the interview below.
I have been trying to stay away from the uncommitted players, a bit fed up with the back and forth. However if Laremy Tunsil selects UGA, along with Kublanow and Brown from the JC ranks, going to be one heck of a 2013 offensive line class. Crossed fingers, and Will Friend has to be beside himself if this happens.
Appears that the offensive coaches have finally realized that play starts with the snap and the folks closest to the ball are on the offensive line.
“I’m in love with Georgia, I can tell you that right now,” Tunsil told ESPN’s Kipp Adams. “I have a relationship with all the coaches there … I would have to say that Georgia has given me the best guideline so far on how they would use me and develop me in college …”

We did not need this . . . .
O-line takes first hit. Backup guard/center Hunter Long breaks foot in Friday practice. Out 6-8 weeks
