Nothing against Vasser or Rambo, but I would love to see the guys replacing them never look back after getting the starting job. No better wake up call for the entire team. Might make these young men a little more aware of what is at jeopardy.
My friend, that could not be said better. Notice that Grantham was staying true to form in the clip. He is saying nothing more than, next man up. One of the reasons that I have such respect for Todd Grantham is the way he conducts his media sessions. Speaks clearly and to the point. Does not dodge any question and always seems to have a "football" explanation for some less than focused media probes.
Watching the clip, did you notice Grantham's facial expression when asked about the "Vandy" incident? Anyone attending the Vandy game between the Hedges will get their moneys worth. Grantham handled that question perfectly . . . . smiled and cut those eyes. Coach just gets better and better AD5, definitely has the Dawg Defense on a path of continued excellence. Stay healthy through the season, might be a surprise or two in Atlanta. Just saying . . .

wlayton, think I see some things with this oline group that as you have said before, might be worth watching after a few games under their belts. Really impressed with Theus in a couple of clips that I have watched and the placement of his feet. This young man starts I think, day one. This offensive line is going to be better than the 2011 group, just don't have too many second thoughts about that.
Hoping that you and your clan are progressing from the recent setback.
Thank you Buc.....we are fine.
Also am starting to feel much better about the OL as well. You can certainly see a lot of potential and going against our DL (as you and many have said) will help them grow up very fast. That alone might be the key ingredient to a faster start with the unit......guess we all had been concerned with the inexperience factor. Certainly more optimistic than a few weeks ago.
Ready to get started Buc, been a while since I've had reason to throw out :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: 's.....

Thanks for all the video's Buc, fun to watch!!

Scrimmages are going to be tough, sounds as if Grantham is going to turn his players loose, much like he would do on game day. So right, it can only help the offensive side prepare for the 2012 season. As Grantham said, it is all about the W's.

GO DAWGS
DAWGtm, on several occasions Grantham has said the possibility of Kwame and Jenkins playing together is a possibility. Think maybe more than a possibility. Along with those two, also have Abry and Cornelius making up the complete front. Will not be surprised to see this happen in the South Carolina game, they do have a "stud" carrying the pigskin.
DAWGtm, have never felt better about our defense and the manner in which Grantham and his coaches are training and cross training these players. I will always link "next man up" with Todd Grantham.
Have also read where Mark Richt is showing a different side this time around. Apparently he is raising his voice to levels not heard since he came to Athens. Mean this statement in the best way, not criticizing. Think Richt has picked up on some of Grantham's methods of coaching. Works for Grantham, could be it will work for Richt. Never too old to learn new tricks.
Go Dawgs . . . Coach'em Up!
