Appears that Buck Belue is on the same page with those of us on this board. Figure we get one or two more offensive line talents along with the recent signing of Trenton Brown, offensive side will make huge strides. Really liked what he saw concerning Gates. Think most of us saw the same thing in the film clip on this board.

Sounds like freshman John Theus is in a good position to grab a starting spot. The right tackle job is up for grabs, with Kolton Houston on stand-by. And with Chris Burnette out sick for a few days, Theus took over the reps at RT, as Watts Dantzler slid down to guard.
Ben Jones was the last Georgia freshman to start on the O-Line. Clint Boling & Cordy Glenn started as a freshman too. The last freshman tackle to start was Trinton Sturdivant in 2007. Adam Meadows did it back in 1993.
Theus is a polished product. Doesn't look like a freshman OL. Strong. Great balance. Smart. The 'Dogs staff has known this all along. It's not a surprise. The young man is a special talent. Sounds like he's on his way to making an immediate impact.
Couldn't get over how big Chris Burnette is. Talk about a big body at guard. He'll help Theus adjust quickly. That will be a nice right side.
Gates and Dallas Lee are handling the left side of the O-Line. Kenarious really surprised me in the spring, with his transition outside from guard. Better feet than I thought. Able to handle the speed rush better than I'd imagined.
At center, David Andrews weighed in around 295. "Boss" has put on 20 pounds, after just one year on campus. Sounds like he's ready to take over for big Ben Jones.
Hearing good things about Xzavier Ward too. Sure hope he holds up. He is a talent.
