Crowell is gone

Typical. Kid screws up and it's everybody else's fault but his. Boo-friggin-hoo. This was the meal ticket, the way out of the ghetto and he flat out couldn't do it. IC gone is a good thing for Georgia. I'm pretty sure that during his last two years he was spoken to a great deal about the opportunities that fell into his lap and the bright future he could have if only he doesn't screw up.
I lived in Athens for ten plus years. It's NOT a place you need to carry a gun. It IS a place you need to watch out for roadblocks. Stupid is as stupid does. I can only wish IC learns from this but my gut feeling is that he won't learn a damned thing and his promising life will end up in a gutter somewhere. Damned shame, but the choices were his and life teaches us that some things come with tough consequences.

Oh, and CW...up yours. Don't be a douche while wearing the red and black.

Y'all think you know so much, but in reality you know nothing. You don't know what we come from, you don't know our struggles, all you know is the number on our jersies. 99% of you don't give a crap about us outside of football. When we're doing well you're all in our faces, when things get tough and we need encouragement you're nowhere to be found. You're fake and I despise you for it. We shall band together guys, we've been working hard and we only need each other. NONE of those outsiders will contribute to our survival as a team or as individuals, you can guarantee that. #stickclosetoeachother

Good, corn. Nominee for the dumbest statement I've read in a while. If I'm understanding correctly, you despise everyone who hold people accountable for what they do. Typical of the entitlement generation. Give me everything and hold me accountable for nothing.
We had Generation X, Generation Y, and now Generation Y Me?. Keep despising the people who fund your lifestyle and see how far that gets you. Terrell Owens, anyone?

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

I hope every one of the UGA players gets a chance to read this crap posted by some of the thug players. You are damn right I don't give a rats ass about you, if I had it my way, I'd just go after the 1 and 2 star players for these are the players that truely want to play. YOu 4 and 5 star players are only here for the free ride and chance for the NFL and big bucks.

If I were you thugs, I would just band together and quit, Cummings,Washington, Rambo, and the other 12 or 15 more. Leave, UGA does not need you, we won a NC with out the likes of thugs, and won plenty of games through the years with out you thugs. Matter of fact, with you thugs, we have gone from a decent program to a program in trouble since 07.

Please hold a team meeting and let the players know that we don't give a damn about you, you are getting a free education room board ect. As thriller said you go on the the NFL you don't think of us or UGA. It would suit me if every one of you high profile players quit, I'll rather lose 6 to 7 games a year and have players that love UGA and do the right things. I am tired of all the arrest, for you think that you are owed something, or that we don't know where you come from.

I would assume if you are a thug and are having problems in HS, and if you play HS ball, and accept a schlorship, that you are tring to better yourself and lose the thug lable. So I to do not buy into the BS about where you come from, you come to UGA, you come to be a better person, not bring your gang shit to school.

I say let's forget and discard the 2% of the team and focus on the 98% of the team that is committed.

There's always going to be negatives in life.......I am going to chose to focus on the positives still in Athens, fortunately it is the LARGER percentage.

If you can cut out the 2% of cancer in your body....the body will heal and become stronger.

Looking back at IC and some of his problems. Really gets under my skin when someone like Cornelius Washington opens his mouth and allows the garbage to flow. CW in an underhanded way was trying to justify what he did last season and the end result was riding the pines for a really stupid night out.

IC had to sit one quarter against Vandy. Really . . . and the outcome from that harsh judgment really got his attention. Really . . . sat out the entire game against New Mexico State. Harsh punishment handed out again, like a superstar was needed to play against the New Mexico State football team. Selective judgment in my opinion.

Also seem to remember IC’s teammates questioning his backbone, injuries that kept popping up throughout the season. CW, his teammates called him out on that issue, live in a glass house, don’t throw rocks. Players making comments like you made were totally uncalled for and at some point will come back to bite you in the butt. NFL collects data such as this. TRUTH.

Any of us caught in the same situation that IC has found himself in, Reidsville would be our mailing address as ogredawg suggested. Will be worth watching the outcome to the weapons charge. The Luger that was not his, could have been put there by several of his friends that have driven his car. If that is the case IC, I suggest that you have some stupid friends, birds of a feather, stick together, right Cornelius Washington. Pathetic.

Now Richt, McGarity and Adams have a plate full. Several others were in that car, was IC the only person that was burning one, or maybe the pipe was passed around. Just a thought. Have to believe that the higher ups need to look a bit further, and closer to the details of this on going saga that really keeps UGA, a wonderful university in a bad light.

Maybe Jarvis Jones, another player from Columbus, Georgia should have slammed IC several times into the lockers. Jarvis recognized what was going on and his form of punishment seemed to work better (for a while) than that being handed out by the coaching staff. This is not over by a long shot.
