I am really hoping that the two young men from North Carolina come in and not only play great football, hoping that they will have a lasting influence on recruiting at UGA. If this turns out to be the case, it will prove that Cornelius Washington needs to man up and stop with the “woe is me and us” game he is trying to play. Word games such as the one CW is using only cause deeper problems. I feel sure that CW will play with an “edge” this season and could have an outstanding year.
Speaking solely for myself, when he makes a sack or a tackle for a loss, I won’t have the same feelings that I have when Jarvis Jones does the same. Washington really let me down, especially when using the race card. Here is hoping that Ray Drew plays lights out and replaces CW. As I mentioned, can only speak for myself.

kentdaddy, I believe that to be true. I would back that up with the way he handled Willie and the S&C coach. Hired and kept both far too long, which caused many problems with fans and alumni.
When Mark Richt first arrived at UGA, he had the element of surprise. Took some time for other coaches and teams to figure Richt out, but like Urban Meyer's arrival and departure, they did just that. Another reason that I and most on this board and other boards believe we can call over 60% of the plays that will be called offensively before the snap.
Grantham on the other side is new also, however when I look at past UGA games, one never sees the same thing defensively from game to game. I forget how many times last year that he used different players for different opponents.
With Willie, he was the same as the offense, other teams had him figured out way past his "bedtime".
Hoping to see something different this season, too much talent on both sides of the ball to stay on the same path we have followed for far too long.
For the players that choose to play their way, sadlerdawg hit the nail on the head in this thread. Going to be a long, hot summer.

This bit of writing is correct Richt is not to blame for Crowell being an idiot. Richt is however still soft. It is intrinsic to his being.
