Wart, what did you say you would be happy with this year? How many wins? Did you think we were going to win the NC? Just remember it seemed almost all agreed they would accept 9-10 wins.
GO DAWGS
Nope.. never said or thought we were going to win the NC.
Never put a specific win total requirement on the team. I hardly ever do. I just want
them to come out and play competitively in every game, and not lose games because of
stupidity or lack of effort. If they do that and 10 is the best they can do, then I'm
happy. If they could have done better than 10, and didn't.. then I have an issue.
I'm not the one basing everything on win totals. You seem content because we reached
a number of wins that made you happy, so it seems you are the one that bases your opinion
on win totals alone. That's what I've heard over and over. You've ignored a ton of specific
issues and just keep talking about reaching 10 wins.
Me... I don't care... I just want to know why we don't even attempt to move the
ball a little closer when our crappy kicker is less than 50% from outside of 40
yards (not to mention why crappy kicker is even still the one we are using), or how we don't find a way to incorporate one of our best weapons and get him the ball. I just want to know why our 2 most discombobulated offensive performances came in the 2 games when our OC had the longest amount of time to prepare. I just want to know why we haven't had an O-line in 4 years, and STILL people are talking about how it may be an issue yet again next season.

Lot of truth in that statement TN Dawg. Many are suggesting that 2012 is the year. Not sold on that completely. Much has to be done on the offensive side.
Only way AM's feet don't dance is for the front to stabilize. What little I know about football, when you lose your center, that to me is like losing a quarterback. Not only losing a strong football player that started for four years, losing leadership. Leadership is hard to come by when we are talking about 18-21 year olds.
I compare a center in football to a catcher in baseball, have to look around and be sure everyone has their act together.
