Ten wins are always better than six.
That said, I do have a wish list for next year.
1. Demote CMB to QB coach and hire a damned good OC.
2. Throw the ball into the end zone every now and then.
3. Beat UF and Tech (again)
4. Beat a top 10 team.
5. Win the SEC.
6. Run up the score to 70+ on at least one opponent. (Dunno why. I just want to see us do it. Preferably somebody wearing orange.)
7. Have CMR take a page out of CTG's book and rip ass on national television after somebody screws up.
"The freedom of individuals to verbally to oppose or to challenge police actions without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state."

Good with Limey's chart. With you too Buc. Want to see us really hand him a lop-sided one.

Wart, what did you say you would be happy with this year? How many wins? Did you think we were going to win the NC? Just remember it seemed almost all agreed they would accept 9-10 wins.

Nope.. never said or thought we were going to win the NC.
Never put a specific win total requirement on the team. I hardly ever do. I just want
them to come out and play competitively in every game, and not lose games because of
stupidity or lack of effort. If they do that and 10 is the best they can do, then I'm
happy. If they could have done better than 10, and didn't.. then I have an issue.
I'm not the one basing everything on win totals. You seem content because we reached
a number of wins that made you happy, so it seems you are the one that bases your opinion
on win totals alone. That's what I've heard over and over. You've ignored a ton of specific
issues and just keep talking about reaching 10 wins.
Me... I don't care... I just want to know why we don't even attempt to move the
ball a little closer when our crappy kicker is less than 50% from outside of 40
yards (not to mention why crappy kicker is even still the one we are using), or how we don't find a way to incorporate one of our best weapons and get him the ball. I just want to know why our 2 most discombobulated offensive performances came in the 2 games when our OC had the longest amount of time to prepare. I just want to know why we haven't had an O-line in 4 years, and STILL people are talking about how it may be an issue yet again next season.

Haven't ignored anything Wart. There are many issues for a bunch of teams. That is football. Hate to break this to you, but no matter who we have as a coach, I am betting play calling is going to be questioned and there will be issues. Also, willing to bet 18-22 year old kids are just going to mess up. Just going to happen. If you can't learn that, might want to watch something else.
Use Saban as a bench mark, look how he played his overtimes. Very conservatively. Les Miles same way. Hard to believe fans demanded him out a few years ago.
I don't remember questioning the O line in 08 or 09. Didn't think that was anywhere near our biggest problem those years. Believe defense was the issue then.
As to your other point, any coach will tell you they fear long lay offs. Preparing is a lot different than playing Wart. Lay offs are a coaches nightmare call and ask any of them.

You can belittle me all you want... act like I don't know what I'm talking about and talk about how you're Mr. Football or whatever.. go right ahead. I don't need to learn anything.
I know when and when not to question coaching. When it's not applicable or not an issue, I
don't nit pick every call. When it's systematic.. year after year... I do question the coaching.
