Win or Lose - Our Head Coach and OC Suck.

OC was too busy being wide-the-eff open all day long to factor into Bobo's find-out-what-doesn't-work-and-ride-it-all-day coaching scheme. HAD we thrown to OC, we'd have won by 21.

2011, We win the games we should have.
We start and end the season the same way, two losses.
We can't win the big ones.
Coach Richt, a good man but not a great coach. He will NEVER win the big one. If you think so, dream on.
Don't put the blame on Bobo. Put the blame on Richt.
I guess we're on a continuous two year program of above average mediocrity.
Not much else to say. You guys have pretty much said it all.

ogredawg, I'll only give credit where and WHEN it's due. Bobo certainly helped lose this game . . . but so did CTG! When you pin your opponent inside their 20 with less than 2 minutes to play, it's on the D from there to the end. Period. True, we should have gotten at least one lousy first down to kill more clock, but MSU had 86 yards between them and tying the game - that SHOULD be enough distance to stop them in 4 downs.

I guess I'll just have to disagree with just about everyone on that point. Nobody gets a pass on this one. Not one coach on that sideline. Not one. Not Bobo, not Grantham, not Friend - oh, definitely not Friend. You've got the biggest offensive line in ALL of FOOTBALL, and your OC CAN'T call runs up the middle with only 3 minutes left in the game? Why not? It's called killing the clock, and you sure don't want to have to put the ball in the air at that point in the game. I'll GUARANTEE you Saban's OC could have and WOULD HAVE run the ball right up the gut. But your O line whiffs on just about every block. Was the MSU D line too manly for them or something?

Erk is rolling over in his grave. This filthy loss has NOTHING good about it! And I'm not letting CTG off the hook - sure, they saved us in a lot of other games - but not this time, when they had AMPLE opportunity.

The head coach is soft. I have been saying that for years.

Thriller, I agree with a lot of what you are saying. All coaches failed. All of them. Get tired of hearing the D was tired. In that drive that UGA handed it off with the timeouts and media breaks, the defense had over 7 minutes to get rested. They didn't get it done. I guess I am focusing on other things. They all failed. I could see points being hard to score. MSU is a good defense. Can't figure out why we didn't throw the ball more vertically down field. Terrible on the o side as well. Whole thing stunk except for Boykin and Tree.

The pick 6 by Murray. Really?? A corner sits on the flat in a cover 2 and that is where you go with the football. How, How in the hell does that happen? I was so stunned. I know 10 year old kids that know if you run a smash route against a cover 2 and the corner doesn't sink, you throw to the vertical. That is elementary. Did anyone happen to see the vertical route when they showed the replay, there was no one within 15 yds of the WR. I just still can't get a grip on that one. I understand mistakes, but this is elementary stuff. I was truly speechless. Instead of reading the play right and making probably the easiest TD throw of his career, we throw a pick 6. That was a 14pt swing and yes, that falls on the players.

You can't do that against good teams. MSU was a good team, not great. Very embarassing loss. Better do some serious evaluating.

Ad5, I too was stunned.
Serious issues all around.
I gauge results like this, the four toughest teams we face this season, 0-4.
I am not cutting anybody any slack. We are a complacent second half team.
We have been complacent for a long time.
All the pats on Richt's back don't mean a thing.
We won the games we were supposed to. We didn't win the games that mattered.
Give us a SEC West schedule, we lose at least a couple more, maybe three.
Give me a break.
