Time to step out on the limb... ya thinks that play call might just be a tad better now that CMB has a short breath with CTG "D" having his back?

Might just get better with beefed up running game an "O" line also ?

Not taking up for CMB just that he had WM befote CTG...who would make any OC better....

He might be CMR's mini-me... bowl game will be an opportunity.... Go Dawgs

Hey yd1....always said that sometimes players can make coaches look great, well coaches can make coaches look great too. CTG and Friend just might do that FOR CMB.

Tanslation--"Too bad they didn't run Willie out of town a couple of years sooner so I could have had more time in this defense."

sadlerdawg, at some point they are going to learn to listen to you. Know that I BUMPED this earlier, something brought me back, have to say this, which goes along with what you said. Where would this UGA Defense be right now if Coach Grantham had been the BMOC running that side of the ball for four years.

Again, sure hope that we don't lose Coach Todd Grantham. Might end up doing what kentdaddy said some time back, just say to heck with it. These "kids" (I can say that) love Coach Grantham, they respect the fact that he looks them in the eyes and tells them the truth. Besides that, he knows the game.

That is the kind of thing that Mike Davis said turned him off about Florida. He was lied to.

Have to believe that Boykin has a handle on the team and their feelings. They love Coach Grantham. Say this again. AM loves Coach Grantham, Orson Charles loves Coach Grantham. Not for a minute do I believe that Coach Grantham is the only coach that these kids care about. Richt cares and they know it. Good combination, something like playing doubles tennis, team play.

Go Dawgs, Michigan State thinks that they are all that . . . made that up, but what the heck . . . :)

Never have to explain Buc, just keep writing what's on your mind. I am on board with this train of thinking.

You a very correct that there are many moving parts to what we love as UGA football.

Some we get to hear about and others that lurk behind a very thick curtain.

For sure we have much more to talk about on the upside than we did at 6-7.

Said before I love that fact that CLM & CLS have a clear understanding of what we have in CTG. And it has them worrying just how good UGA can be on "D"

The past is past if CMB is going to prove his worth let it start a week from today in TPA.

yankeedawg1, this Michigan State team was within a few points of winning the conference they play in. Not like we are getting a weak opponent for this contest. This could be the best game of all the bowl games. Physically strong team, last year, that would bother me. This year with these guys in Coach JTII's "workshop" that part does not bother me at all. Both sides, turn them loose and let's see where both teams are at. If we follow polls, both teams are close.

Two big, physical football teams locking horns. Think the spread has remained in UGA's favor around 3.5 points. I have my thoughts, will be a fun game to watch. Spreads as we all know take into consideration coaching tendencies as well as player stats.

Really want this game, as does MSU. :)

Buc, I feel safe in saying that if Coach Grantham had been here for 4 years, the defense would not have been in as bad a shape as it was when he took over, and we probably would not have witnessed a 6-7 season.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

sadlerdawg, spot on,,, CTG is here for the past four years we would be further down the road were we need to be,

Fact we spent sometime floundering and Mac came on board and turned the page to cut the crap and told CMR coach like you know how or else. Results driven management works.

Buc,never hinted that MSU was a cupcake however we have the talent to win,as you have offen pointed out just need to coach them up. Which I feel we have turned the corner on.

Looking for another hell of a year recruiting. Notice has been given much has changed in Athens in the past 12 months... truly the best is yet to come.. Go Dawgs
