Prospects

Anyone hearing rumors that IC might not be eligible for the bowl game? Keep looking around and the question of IC keeps popping up about grades. Anyone know anything? Mike Honcho where are you? Probably "classified information". Won't be getting anything realistic from a "source".

Buc, saw this in on the AJC website: "Coach Mark Richt actually hit the road for some in-home recruiting visits and was not in attendance for Thursday’s festivities. Otherwise, it appeared most everybody else was present, though a certain beleaguered tailback could not be spotted among the dozens of players (don’t read too much into that because it may not mean anything)." OoltewahDawg, actually I read that, and am glad that you posted that site. It amazes me, or maybe I should say it bothers me that someone so young could actually carry himself this way. Sorry, this young puppy is all about himself. He does not understand the word team.

When IC was so heavily recruited, we really needed help and most on this board were happy that we got IC.

Must say this, old saying . . . haste makes waste. Take what you want from that. This kid is not going to move our program (UGA) forward. Don't care if he had a thousand yards this year, he did not contribute to the overall team play.

I wish now he had gone to Alabama. If he had, and I think I know why he did not, he would have sat on the bench the entire year. Sorry, don't often call players out, however IC and his actions are why Richt went public, with the chance of breaking NCAA regulations and basically "begging" for Keith Marshall and others to head in our direction.

Personally, never said this about any UGA football player . . . . move on, if not, #29 might do more than slam your selfish butt against a locker, if that is true, and it is not too hard for me to believe. You block like my great grandmother, be careful, don't want to bruise the body.

Looking for one more running back and you are finished. Might be you are finished now . . . books have pages, pages need to be read. My bet is you could not pass a third grade test. stanger, you know of what I speak.

Buc, unfortunately, I have to agree with everything you say here. I don't normally knock 18 year-old kids, but this dude is not cut out to be an SEC caliber tailback. He needs to be in a lower division where he can outrun everybody and not get hit as hard or as much as he will as a tailback at UGA. If the rumblings about IC are just rumor, I can only hope he will change his attitude and work ethic in the off-season. I really don't have a lot of confidence in that happening, given that Richt publicly invited tailbacks to come to UGA. I is my opinion that he will end up in trouble with the law at some point in his future. I hope I am wrong. I would rather see a tough 3-star back with a good work ethic and a strong desire to play for UGA on the field rather than more of this season's edition of IC

I would love to see Mitchell, Davis, and Gurley all playing for UGA.

From what I'm hearing Buc, Your going to see a lot of RS and CT next year as of right now. There going to bring KM in slowly not like they did IC. Not saying KM won't start next year maybe a couple of games into the season but he's still got a lot of learning to do. Once he get's the plays down to where AM don't have to tell him where to line up every play like IC it'll be hard to keep him off the field. I'm also hearing UGA is loading up on RB's this year because there basically lossing atleast 2 next year and don't really have much left after those 2 are gone. I'm also hearing that IC won't make it to the bowl game unless he's passed every final this week and then some.
