I have such great respect for you and your Father. Both of you understand the game, most of all, both of you love UGA. If . . . if Coach Grantham gets a certain player from Lowndes that he is recruitig really hard and a defensive end that is on his list, Coach Grantham will not take one step forward this coming year, he and his defense will jump leaps and bounds.
DawgnLA, if our offensive line only improves by 10 or 15 percent, we are on our way. Realize we are losing some folks, but I also know that we have a couple of folks that did not play this year that have worked hard with that animal Coach JTII, won't call names but have mentioned one person that came from the Tampa area that will get in your face this season. Will Friend and the coaches love this guy. Biggest problem is trying to put weight on the puppy.
Not playing the two or three or one year game, that is simply done with talent and coaching the talent up. Some things never change. Something along the lines of a Walker coming in . . . who knew.
Looking forward to watching a UGA football team that went . . . . at this point 10-3. After the bowl game, and I mean this sincerely, I hope that we have finished off a team that will come after us. Come after us because they want to beat a team from the SEC. Time for Richt and his crew to get serious about football games like this. Don't let up when you have your foot on their throat. Something like LSU and UGA in Atlanta. Want to be a nice guy, it does not belong in SEC football. Scores end up like 40 something to 10 or so. Time for UGA to make "big steps", if not, hang around with the bottom feeders.
