If he wants to be an every down back, he needs to add a few pounds to take what the SEC has to offer on the other side of the ball.

Very exciting stuff here. Love the fact that the GPA stuff points to the fact that this might be
one of those 18 year olds who's not going to be disciplinary issue punkwad.

All for Coach JTII having Keith Marshalll early. Young pup, his body will change quickly under some "serious" supervision. Wartdawg, that excites me to see you mention that from the get go.

Another young man heading our way that I agree with bulldawg36869 on. Big, tough, not slow, some moves. Keep this young pup at fullback also. Defensive ends we have.

Fullback Quayvon Hicks has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. He is the seventh commitment for UGA for the 2012 recruiting class.

Hicks (6-2, 245) plays for Pierce County High School in Blackshear, Georgia. Several schools offered him as a defensive end, but he will likely play fullback for the Dawgs. Among the schools to offer were Duke, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Louisville, Miami (FL), Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

Check him out on youtube, bad to the bone . . . . :)

You need to tiptoe through Blackshear.....some "bad boys" in that town.

Keep him at FB. It's been an important role in our offense, and one I'm not sure we were able to utilize
to the fullest this past season.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

So true Wartdawg! We've gotta start using the fullback again to keep the D-line from honing in on our RB & QB. I'm feeling pretty darn good about the FB position for the next few years btw. Zander Ogletree & Q. Hicks! I swear, the best play on any down & goal to go from inside the 10 yard line is the pass to the FB in the flats (we used it once this year that I can recall, versus Auburn, result Touchdown to Figgins).

That said, anybody got any theories on why our FB was so seldom used?

Makes sense to my wlayton & likely the truth. Just hoping that we cure the fumbles & get back to making our FB a weapon like we used to do so well. Zander's run to put the NATS away was one of my favorite plays of the season.

While I'm looking back, the ESPN SEC Blog listed the UGA vs. SC game as the best game of the year in the SEC. I was there & while I hated the outcome, I have to agree, that was one exciting game & I don't remember sitting down much at all. Hope ALL of the players remember how we gave the game away in 2011 & make Spurrier's momma cry next year in Columbia!
