How can playing Florida in Florida be a neutral site?
Talk all you want about tradition, the addition of two more SEC teams is gonna end some traditions.
While we're at it make Russ UGAIX. He has earned his keep.

averagedawg, started a time or two to mention Russ and UGA.

Now folks don't go the wrong way with this, out here for all to see and speak to. We don't want our mascot with any color, is that the reason? If Russ does not continue to be our mascot, promise you I will be louder than most when and if the change over takes place. That does not sit well with this old Dawg. I remember when our football team was all white. That crap belongs in a trash can somewhere.

If this comes down, there will be a site that will cause a bit of soul searching on UGA, Adams and others. They will not like it. ;) Promise. FACT. Can I get a BUMP?

averagedawg, you are the man!! I will BUMP that!! BUMP!!

Allow me to pass this information along. If you get involved with UGA/UF football, which I do not everyday, but for dang sure every other day, one of the things that these gators don't want to do, especially since the Urban Liar Meyer movement is to play UGA in ATL.

Richt knows that, and as a head coach, he should take advantage of every situation. Folks down this way don't like to travel, especially to Atlanta, hard "Peachtree City" to find your way around.

Lots of politics will be involved in moving this game, same can be said for the UGA/AU game. For the most part, Abuurn did not want to do a home and home, they loved crossing the Chattahoochee River and playing in Columbus, Georgia. There is an advantage to playing close to home.

I give nothing to Muschamp and the gators, and what ever it is that they want. Right now Muschamp is only . . . . let me get this right, talking percentages as mentioned before on a couple of threads discussing percentages . . . . 30 to 40% chance of winning on a neutral field. Would I trade that percentage to move out of Jacksonville, yep because Jacksonville every year is not a neutral field.

I hear chatter down this way from "some" that are heavily involved with Bull Gator Football. Not only are their knees knocking, they are having a rough time believing that Muschamp and Weis will turn this Urange and Blue thing around. A lot of the chatter centers around Weis and just how good he is. There is not enough space on this site for me to go into that, think I am long, should listen to the clamor about Muschamp and Weis. Now the Bull Gators are saying things like, what did Charlie do at Notre Dame, and then Kansas City, and now he lands in Gainesville. Those in the know in New England, knew that "one man" ran that team. It was not Charlie Weis.

Have to say this . . . . Muschamp should never have dissed his college. This young piece of nothing thinks that he can do anything he wants and will get the results he wants. His largest promise to the gator faithful now is that he will turn this program around, and believe it or not, "silently" he is all over UM. I buy that, all over UM, but should he not be focused on his football team.

Many of you out there on this board might think that some of us on this board have forgotten each and every game played between UGA and UF. Not true, some of us really and truly don't like first of all playing the game in Jacksonville and that is only second to disliking the gators.

Move the game to a Neutral Site. What another poster said about home and home, no thanks, let the gators go through traveling to Atlanta where more folks of the Red and Black can get tickets.

If you read this long winded Buc piece of crap, give me one more thingy . . . KEEP RUSS! I (Buc) think that Russ has earned his place in UGA history. You like ten wins, RUSS WAS THERE. Beat LSU, RUSS was there. Win a bowl game RUSS WILL BE THERE. Buc loves RUSS. :)

Buc, You are closer to the situation than I am but I can feel the Muschamp wrath from here.
So glad he didn't come to Athens.
Russ is a survivor, a country boy, a junkyard dawg.
