I dont know why, but,I just have this feeling that one day something is going to inspire IC to put it all into perspective and wreak havoc throughout the SEC. I hope it is soon, we need him.

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

Our offense be scary if we had 2 or 3 of LSU or BAMAS running backs in our backfield.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

Seeing Crowell on the sideline, don't see a whole lot of intensity.
All the talent in the world will not compensate for lack of intensity.

The worse part is that I see a whole lot of IC standing on the sideline BY HIMSELF. I may be wrong, but I get the feeling that the players who are "on the bus" don't have much respect for IC at this point...if he doesn't pull it together soon he'll be run out of town by his own teammates.

Bothers me Mike. Against Tech, watched players moving past IC without acknowledging him. Of course he is not playing so maybe that is the way it should be.

Again hoping that Richt has got a grip on this team and the UGA football team in general. He knows and we know that IC has a world of talent, maybe as growl said above, he will show it in Atlanta, after Atlanta and next season there will be serious competition in the UGA backfield. If we get a certain back (or two) out of North Carolina, all of this talk about running backs will not be the subject of need on this team. Time waits for no one.

Appears that UGA has got a serious two year plan to take anyone on. Also believe that McGarity will be a strict taskmaster on the time mentioned. This team like so many other UGA teams has a world of talent. Before February signing date, there will be more.

Dawgs play hard, man up, this game is going to be physical and I don't believe any one of the regulars will back down. :)

Mike Honcho wrote: I May be over simplifying it a bit, but in my mind this game comes down to one group of players...UGA's D-line. LSU's power running game is the one thing that delivers for them consistently on offense. They do this with big, physical backs and even bigger, more physical O-linemen. If Geathers/Jenkins, and the rest of the crew give open looks into the backfield for our linebackers, we have a great shot at putting ourselves in a position to win in the 4th quarter.

Jefferson will have a few big plays with his arm, but he doesn't have the consistency to have Miles put the game on his shoulders alone. We've done a GREAT job this year of making opposing offenses one-dimensional. If we're physical up front and slow down their interior run game, we have the offense to pull this out. A lot of times games like this end up being high-scoring headscratchers, BUT I really think this will be a game where the last team to score wins...if we treat LSU's running game anything like we did TN's and/or Abuurn's (and I know there's huge differences between the three)...we might see some sugar falling from the sky in Atlanta Saturday.

Interesting you say our DL....I think our OL is the key to the game. I heard a statistic today that floored me (and assume it's correct).......I heard LSU's offense is ranked 74th in the country....74th!!!!!!(give or take one)......our D could have a great day.

Therefore I feel the key is whether we can block LSU's front four DL........they are vitually unstoppable and our OL has NOT faced a D front even close to LSU's all year......they had better have AM on the move.
