Look Out

If the O line can block then UGA can win. Murray is the best QB LSU has played this year. Look at their schedule. They caught Arkansas and Alabama with first year starters. They gave up tons of yards to WVU who has an experienced and talented QB.

I hope the Dawgs can shock the world.

Two projections from ESPN have the Bulldogs in the Cap One Bowl January 2 in Orlando or the Outback Bowl January 2 in Tampa, while Sports Illustrated projects Georgia will play in the Cotton Bowl against Kansas State on January 6. Then again, if the Bulldogs upset the No. 1 ranked team in the country this weekend in Atlanta, they'll advance to the BCS, and would likely play in the Sugar Bowl.

Let's throw the bowl picture and BCS in a tailspin and say, "Look out Bourbon Street...here we come!"

As the old cliche goes -- this game will be decided in the trenches. If our line can give Murray time our offense can move the ball. If our defense line can stop their running game including QB Jefferson we can stop their offense.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

Imo, you are dead right. Our OL has GOT to block their defensive front 4......that is going to be a monumental task, best front 4 in college football and our OL hasn't played anybody with a DL like they will see Sat.......the D will play well......up to our OL so AM can work his magic.

LSU is nothing to be terrified about offensively. Their offense has benefited tremendously from
their defense, and the fact Alabama was worse than us at FGA..

I've said all along that we have enough talent on offense to score 20-23 on just about anyone.
All that takes is two or three plays when an athlete just makes a play. We're going to have
a tough time offensively, but I think we can still put up that many points if we continue to
have play from our WR's like we've had this season. We don't have to be consistent on O if
Grantham can contain them on D. The O just has to do one thing... don't put the D in a bad
spot time and time again. Hang on to the ball.

We've just got to hang in there long enough to get that one critical shot in late....

".....And David put his hand in the bag and took out a stone and slung it. And it struck the Philistine on the head and he fell to the ground. Amen."

God Bless and Go Dawgs

I May be over simplifying it a bit, but in my mind this game comes down to one group of players...UGA's D-line. LSU's power running game is the one thing that delivers for them consistently on offense. They do this with big, physical backs and even bigger, more physical O-linemen. If Geathers/Jenkins, and the rest of the crew give open looks into the backfield for our linebackers, we have a great shot at putting ourselves in a position to win in the 4th quarter.

Jefferson will have a few big plays with his arm, but he doesn't have the consistency to have Miles put the game on his shoulders alone. We've done a GREAT job this year of making opposing offenses one-dimensional. If we're physical up front and slow down their interior run game, we have the offense to pull this out. A lot of times games like this end up being high-scoring headscratchers, BUT I really think this will be a game where the last team to score wins...if we treat LSU's running game anything like we did TN's and/or Abuurn's (and I know there's huge differences between the three)...we might see some sugar falling from the sky in Atlanta Saturday.
