Did ANYONE see the replay of when he got his ankle injured?

Were this an isolated incident, I don't think there would be nearly as many critics of IC...but when him getting boo-boos and riding the pine for more than half a game happens nearly EVERY game, it brings out the critics.

wlayton, I think you just need to embrace the fact that people deal with all kinds of things differently, and because it isn't the way you deal with it doesn't make it wrong, as you seem to imply.

I wouldn't say "embrace"is the proper word but I get it.

I'm not "implying I'm right either and don't believe you can point out where I said I'm right and he's wrong. It isn't even an issue of right or wrong....geez, I have AGREED with everything about our offense.......just giving a little credit that a UN-perfect team FOUND a way to win the freakin East Crown.....and USUALLY people are happy at least for a few days before complaining.

Btw......Buc, if you will, check out my accuracy....

my "rose colored" glasses predicted a 10-2 season with an East win (maybe 9-3, can't remember that's why I ask Buc)......ogredawg's glasses predicted we would be LUCKY to go 5-7.......nuff said.

I get what you're saying wlayton, but I wasn't referring to the offense or any of that. I'm just talking about you telling people to quit bitching and that they should be happy regardless of how we won, etc. You're correct that you never "said" you were right, but it appears to me that is what you're implying with those comments. If I misinterpreted your intentions, my mistake.

Well, I'll take responsibility that I may not have said it properly. If so, my bad. We know the problems.......we had just won the East and immediately the complaining started, that's all.

I feel I have been successful in life because I'm a "1/2 full" guy, not a "1/2 empty" guy with aspirations to make my glass FULL (ie NC). We aren't there yet but believe the Dawg's glass is headed to being full......negativity is a powerful emotion, very "wearing" on people.

And as I said at the beginning of my post, I am somewhat tired of the brittle nature of IC. However, when a guy takes a legitimate injury, as damaging as it is for the team, I have to cut him a little slack. His ankle got steam rolled by one of the biggest guys in ALL of football and twisted at a bizarre angle and we ALL saw it in the painful replays. I want him in the game too. But I'd rather have him back against the gnats. And LSU.

And that's the end of my 2 cents. I'm too busy celebrating a trip to the DOME, baby! We made it to ATLANTA - how many other teams can say THAT?! Only one . . . only one.

I agree, thriller, legitimate injury...this time. I'm not disputing that. And I realize he's a freshman and not used to SEC punishment, and all that. My only point is that it appears our offensive gurus are building our game plan around using him to establish the run, and it's apparent that he can't really be counted on to shoulder the load at this point in his career. Soooooooo, since we don't really have any RB's that can be counted on right now with Samuel injured, new game preparation might be in order.
