You can win it all by winning 2 of the three phases of the game every week and that's what we have been doing.

I agree Bobo Gotta Go Go (I coined the phrase) but face it, he AIN'T going anywhere either.
Last week he had his whole arsenal available to him....this week he had to play basically one dimensional football. The TEAM (coaches included) did what they had to do to win the game.

They appeared unprepared but I think with all that was on the line for this one game, I think they actually just played a little TIGHT, unlike last week they were loose in every phase.

In Atlanta, I believe you will see them pin their ears back, play loose (with nothing to lose) and get after LSU. The pressure game was today there will be ZERO pressure in Atlanta.....and I expect us to play well.

Here is what is going to happen. Oklahoma loses to Baylor tonight. Oregon loses to USC. Arkansas beats LSU thus putting Alabama in the SEC title game (higher BCS ranking as tie breaker).UGA spanks Alabama and vaults Stanford and Va. Tech because everyone knows they suck and UGA beats ____________ for the national title.

It could happen.

thanks Mayor for beeing the reality check tonight. wasn't pretty, but we were down to the #5 running back again, and he did pretty well.

Some times you have to lean on your defense, and fortunately we have a great one. No one can tell me Alabama or LSU has not relies on their defense at times and play field position ball until you get the turnover you need. It's part of the game...

Thankfully CRY had his boys ready. Also glad BW got to go out on a high note. BW vesting his head right could pay dividends in the coming weeks.

I don't even think the play calling was that different.....what people are missinterpreting is EXECUTION. Play calling looks GREAT when it is executed properly. CMR/Bobo tried to establish the run....not going to do it with a RB the size of my 12 year old and KM that is "green" at best. UK KNEW we couldn't gash them running the ball so they put 4 maybe 5 in the box and dropped 6-7 in the secondary making it tough to pass on them.

Our lack of execution was situational (no threat at RB) and we think it was bad play calling. Certainly not saying the play calling was perfect......just the lack of personel made it easier for them to defend.

I like it kd....Clemson lost too and Stanford is behind against Cal (for now). VT could lose to Clemson in their conference championship game. After all the dust settles and the 1 loss teams get that extra loss, maybe it will be BSU and UGA back at the top, huh?.....how cool would that be?
