Ultimately it all goes back to the head coach.
Plain and simple.
He's responsible for the program.
I am glad we won, though it was certainly ugly.

Buc.....first of all, I agee with 95% of your response above to F-D and will agree the other 5% against UF.

2 things: 1. Vandy doesn't really have many options to go to so Franklin has no choice but to turn Rogers loose......2. when AM played at Plant he DID break his leg and that's the LAST thing UGA needs to happen right now,,,,AM totally won the game for us last night, thought he was great making clutch throws etc.

Now against UF....let him do ANYTHING he wants.;)

wlayton, Richt has to make up his mind what it is that he wants to do with our team, not his. He is our stand in. Not elected, appointed. One of the few that VD got right, when Richt was into football.

AM broke his leg at Plant and came back and played in the championship game. That is the point that I am making. AM is not a nerd ball like me, he is a throw back to football the way it was played a million years ago. That is who he is.

There is too much confusion surrounding the coaching side of UGA football, someone needs to get a handle on the program and RUN IT.

Did Rodgers scare anyone on this board last night?

Said before, I don't just post, I read everything on this board, sometimes more than once. Want to read a few posts from our members on AM and their views on AM migh want to go to the following thread that is still active on this board.

Yes he did scare me a little.

I'm not disagreeing with you entirely. You mentioned at Plant he broke his leg and came back to play in the championships game.....he breaks his leg at UGA and UGA is done, no championship game.

And again, Franklin has no weapons and therefore no choice but to turn Rogers loose. AM has a ton of weapons around him, he only needs to run when necessary, not build an offense around his ability TO run.
