Oh I almost forgot, If we are in a 4th and 1 situation we had better GO FOR IT!!!! Because the way BW has been kicking you have a much better chance at the first down. Plus we are going to need TDS to win this one.

We need it bad or it will spell the end for CMR and our chances for ATL.

That's a good one, lol

Only thing that scares me about the going for it on 4th and 1, is that to prove a point I could
see us making the call to go for it on 4th and a very long 1.. on our own 42 yard line, when
we're up by 2 with 5 minutes to play. I don't want to see our coaches do that, but at times
I think that's how our coaching heads might work. lolol

My biggest complaint about this 4th and 1 garbage is when it's inside the red zone, namely inside the 5, and our D is playing lights out. I can see maybe not going for it on our own side of the field, but inside their 5....come on.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

As AD5 pointed out on another post, CMR was trying to kick the FG to increase the lead to 3 TD's......in situations like that, CMR thinks more like coaches in the NFL.....percentages etc, take the points. I can understand that in the pro's, points are precious and that one FG can make the difference in the NFL between winning and losing..... but not so much in college ball, more scoring going on at the college level. You usually need TD's.....kicking a bunch of FG's usually comes back to bite you.

Bump. I know this may sound bad but i honestly wish Richt was like Paul Johnson on 4th down. I absolutely HATE tech but he isnt scared to go for it on 4th down.
