Averagedawg, I set right behind the ut band that game in '03. When Jones scooped and scored, I have never seen a fanbase look so dejected. Then, the 2nd half was all UGA all the time. What a great game.

I also remember a play, that I am not sure why we don't see anymore. We used to run the ISO lead out of the Gun. Very successful play for Richt. It was a play he brought over from fsu. I remember seeing Dunn have a field day for fsu, and remember Lumpkin having a field day with that play in '03. Where did that play go? Another play, that needs to be used often on Saturday, is the boot play. Take advantage of those young lb's and get the ball to Figgins or Charles in open space. I am hoping this is one of the secrets bobo was holding back. Never saw it last week, and I am still confused as to why.

This game has me worried every year. no matter the rankings or current state of each team, this one is a toss up. Even Vegas won't touch it half of the time.

These Dawgs had better come in to Neyland fired up. If they love their coach so much, then get him his 100th win!

In perspective, this game is beyond huge. A win puts us on top of the east as UF will lose another conference game Saturday and it's only a matter of time before the QB carousel at SC gets them again(I'd love KY to beat them). Those two teams with their QB issues and one dimensional offenses will take on at least two more conference losses. Win Saturday and beat the Gaytors and we could luck our way into ATL.

As tough as it is to say... We have the most balanced offense and maybe the best in the SEC east right now! Scary thought, huh! (Make sure CMR or Bobo does not see this comment)

Now before you accuse me of passing out kool-aid, drinking it, pumping sunshine or growing flowers out of my butt or whatever... I'm just putting the current race into perspective with what ifs. The path has never been easier to ATL and if there is a way to screw it up I'm betting CMR and bozo will find it.

No, I will be at my cabin in Fannin County. You bring up some educated observations. The boot play would be perfect. I hope Richt reads your post and reflects on what got him to where he is. One thing's for sure, we need to jump on Tennessee early.

I agree with you Buc--I think we have a little more talent. But I don't know that we have the advantage in coaching.

It may have already been discussed here about IC's comments following not going for it on 4th and 1 foot.

THAT is the problem. Here we have a kid jacked up and wanting to go for the jugular against MSU.........but HOLD ON a minutes, I can see CMR on the sideline.

Here is my imaginary CMR converstion with IC on why we don't go for it on 4th a 1.

IC: Coach, we can END this thing. We have the biggest OL in the nation. I am great.
CMR: Now now now, little IC. That ain't the Georgia way. We don't want to embarrass MSU here.
IC: But cocah, they haven't stopped me YET.
CMR: I know son...but think of what would happen IF we don't get it. MSU will only be 90 yards from a TD that will put them within 11 points of us.
IC: Coach, they can't move it on us.
CMR: trust me, IC, I know what I'm doing. It worked against UCF last year.....No wait, bad example. But you know what i mean.

IC: Coach, all you've done is weakened a nation today. I came to UGA with some moxey, some attitude, and now I feel like a puppy that has been neutered.

CMR: Good son, now you understand. This is the Bobo way. Stay calm. Show no fire. I knew I liked you son.

Looking back on it, I think we tried to hard to establish the running game early in the 2nd. Go back and look at the helmets in the box. 8, sometimes 9 when the safety was over OC, hard to run the football against those numbers.

I am puzzled to why TK has not seen more deep balls. He has been a great deep ball WR in year's past.

Great post AD5 (as always). Imo, the reason TK hasn't seen anymore deep balls is because AM doesn't have time to throw deep. That OL is terrible and is going to get AM killed if they don't get better. Also believe that's why Murray is throwing more picks.....he's rushing his throws.

This is True, We do not play well in Knoxville. And Yall know CDD wants to beat us badly. We MUST play our best game with NO TURNOVERS to win this thing. I know I sound like broken record but MUST RUN the BALL for 4 QTS and majority of times on 1st down. tired of 2nd and 10. Also must win cause if we lose this one after SC and UF both lost it will be an UGLY rest of the yr for our team!!! This WIN is Crucial!!!!! And I will be going back to the Beach to watch this One with my UT girl!!! So must win or I will not hear the end of it Yall!!! GOOOOO DAWGSSSSS!!!!
