The loss to Tennessee in 2007 probably hit me harder than some of the others mentioned. After that game it was a steady decline, again in my opinion. We go up there again after kicking their bottoms last season. Better believe the Dooley Clan is pointing to UGA.
Just get really tired of hearing the same chatter over and over. With our talent year after year, one good year does not replace the decline that appears to come both before and after that good year.

Not defending Donnan but Richt benefitted from the players he inherited.
A loss to Dooley this year would ring the death knell for Richt, if we haven't already heard it.

Jim Donnan has been quoted as saying that his decision to redshirt David Greene probably cost him his job.
Donnan is selling himself short. There were any number of reasons he lost his job.

This is a good read. Have always liked Ching, straight shooter. Maybe one of the best evaluations of UGA football with straight talk that I have seen in some time.

Buc, you are correct. Finally someone on a national level has pointed out what we have been saying for the last 2 years. Maybe just maybe if Greg Mc or Adams sees it spelled out in black and white they will realise what has happened.
Some are wise and some are otherwise !

While those of us here bulldawg36869 go back and forth with our thoughts, (and wishes) it will come down at some point soon as to whether we remain the same or head in another direction.
If there is change, it almost certainly means some of the coaches that have been here a short time will also be moving on. This is where the rubber meets the road. Few on this board feel that we have the existing talent on the present staff to take the head job. There is good reason for that.
When McGarity was brought in, felt it was the best decision that Adams and company could have made. Does that mean that McGarity has to get in step with Adams, if so I have totally lost faith in the way our program is being run.
When McGarity worked for Jeremy Foley in Florida, he learned under one of the toughtest AD's in the country. Know that some of that had to rub off on McGarity.
Guess I don't see any peaceful settlements one way or the other with UGA's present situation. There has to be some change, however large or small, something has to be done to prevent our university from falling further into the hole that we are already in.
Trying to say . . . now is the time for leadership, same old chatter will not hold all UGA fans and supporters together. The fuse to this explosive was lit several years back, it has not been put out, getting close to something I think none of us want to be a part of . . . . again.
