Let's just offer Nick Saban 8 million a year and get it over with.

yes.. fair enough..
You did say BIG might, lol
I wonder if we could ever see this nugget from the AD..
CMR.. we are not going to force you to do anything to retain your job. We don't
want a coach who feels betrayed or is resentful of a board telling him how to
manage his staff or run his program. You go do whatever you feel is the right
thing to turn this around, and when the season is over we will make decision based on
what YOU decided to do and the progress of the program at that time.
Period, the end. Meeting adjourned.
I manage people who manage their own people, and have their own responsibilities.
If I have to be constantly telling those immediately under me how to manage their
people or how to manage their own responsibilities... I don't need them. Doing that
very thing is why I hired them.

Wartdawg, you have it in my opinion. It really is called leadership. Some don't like to hear me post the name Saban, however, Saban and Leadership are spelled the same way, WINNER.
One more thingy, the reason a lot of these athletes come to UGA is because we "supposedly" run an offense that is conducive to leading them to the NFL. Really scalds me when I watch Bobo work his NFL genius. Bobo relieved of his duties, might, might get a job at some high school. FACT.

With ya......if I was the AD, I "might" (and that's a BIG might) consider keeping CMR if Bozo was fired and they brought in a high profile OC.......but that would be THE last resort, no options left.
The thing with Richt though is that his failure to recognize and do something
about Bobo is rather indicative of his failings as a coach. He had to be pressured
into firing Willie.. now we have to force him to do something about Bobo..
Do we really want a HC that has to be virtually forced to make a move every time
a move needs to be made? I would much rather have someone making better decisions
about his staff in the first place, and someone who can recognize his own mistakes
and do something about it on his own. I don't want a HC who can be good IF he's
got the entire Bulldog nation telling him what he obviously should and should not be doing.

Wartdawg, I honestly believe McGarity is the man.
Adams is the problem.
