Adams, McGarity, Richt, etc., etc.

I respectfully disagree with you walayton.

I honestly believe he left b/c of health issues and burn out issues. Two years off may cure him of that.

As far as the spread being caught onto, I don't buy that. Doesn't matter what you run, if you execute. Many teams run the spread to success; bama has run the same offense for years now, and they still do it.

But I respect your opinion.

i just wanna win:):):)

With ya......if I was the AD, I "might" (and that's a BIG might) consider keeping CMR if Bozo was fired and they brought in a high profile OC.......but that would be THE last resort, no options left.

The thing with Richt though is that his failure to recognize and do something
about Bobo is rather indicative of his failings as a coach. He had to be pressured
into firing Willie.. now we have to force him to do something about Bobo..

Do we really want a HC that has to be virtually forced to make a move every time
a move needs to be made? I would much rather have someone making better decisions
about his staff in the first place, and someone who can recognize his own mistakes
and do something about it on his own. I don't want a HC who can be good IF he's
got the entire Bulldog nation telling him what he obviously should and should not be doing.

Patterson's a great coach.
There is a reason that he might stay where he is.
A ticket to the BCS Championship is a lot easier through the Big East than through the SEC.

Very true averagedawg.......guess it depends on whether you are the type to want to be a "big fish in a small pond" or join the elite and make a name for yourself. It's got to be "in" you to want that, deep inside of a person and not just try and get media acceptance in the bush league.

BAMA does not run the same spread as UM....not even close. Geez, imo they don't even run a spread offense except to once in a while "spread" the field with WR's.

Btw.....health problems with UM??....give me a break. He wanted out of Dodge.
