The teams have to fit into the SEC......W Va. and Va. Tech fit perfectly as does FSU because of National recognition and location. Oklahoma and Okie State fit also but I do not see that happening as they will go with Texas to the Pac 12 along with Texas Tech or yes and I mean this sincerly Boise State.......Big 10+2 pick up from the Big East like Pitt, Rutgers a maybe Boston College and possibly Mizzu leaving the ACC and rest of the Big East as Basketball powerhouse and a minor in football.....just thinking out loud here again......but 16 teams is going to be the norm and the Pac12 will start it with Texas and the rest will follow.....
Notre Dame not in the mix as they can stay independent

only conditionally...I'm of the opinion we should look elsewhere
Leghumper, have been looking at this post, trying to figure out where you would like for the SEC to make its next move. You mentioned conditionally, meaning that some of ogredawg's or others suggestions were acceptable.
Let's go, you have my curosity at about a 10. Fill in the gaps Big Dawg . . . lots of folks on this board would like to see the alternatives.

ogredawg, with you on Boise State. There comes a time when you have to make hay. They are at their peak right now. They move, definitely keeps them in the "media loop". No doubt in my mind on that portion of your post.
When all of the moving around and sorting out ends, better not be the tail trying to wag the dog. NCAA is clutching for straws. One man's opinion.
Good post. . . . ogredawg, need a win in ATL.

Money talks.
FSU is a fit because of location BUT we already have that market financially. VT or WVU is a great fit because we could get the DC market which means BIG money to the SEC. All about the money boys.
