Buc, have not played a down yet this season, However still think that the "O" will be better than last year. I am with youu about the key starts with the "O" line. Defense will be a fun group to watch, and I sense they will be good enough for us to win in close ball games. CTG wants the game to be won on his side of the ball, In his mind we score one TD and we win 9 out of 10 games.
Teams may think they can read our offense but the "D" is a different story. Go Dawgs
What I draw from your post yankeedawg1 is what I used to watch when Erk ran the defensive side. One of the reasons that I still have a bad taste in my mouth about VD is the reluctance on his part to admit back in the day that Erk drew more respect from the players than he did. Yes, I am a Erk "homer" and damn proud of it. Ask Jake Scott and others, the truth was/is there.
Beginning to have the same feelings you have about Grantham. Guarantee you if WM was still here (perish the thought) Alec Ogletree or "Tree" as he is now known would still be playing safety. Not a bad thing, just shows that Grantham never stops evaluating the troops. That is a damn good thingyyyy.

CTG seems to be coaching up the D and will not allow any quitting late in the game as we were prone to last year..........
I said it early on and will say it again.....the talent is there.....but will the coaching be there......no excuses this time around......

Many of us on this board went back and forth with each other concerning what we individually thought was wrong with our UGA football team. After reading the article, it amazes me that this crap was going on and quite frankly, why was it allowed to continue to happen. Sorry, leadership starts at the top, have said that often, as have others on this board. Too many coaching problems the past x number of years. Along with a AD that was a supposed leader. Was going to say more, will stop with this . . . Thank the Lord that AD McGarity left Florida and came back to Georgia with his no BS accepted from the coaching staff. He went straight to Richt and let it be known the he needed to step up. We will soon see.
“You can just tell right now by the guys leading right now that it’s gonna be different,” Murray said. “We’re not taking any nonsense from anyone that wants to start trouble.”

Unless CMR starts calling more plays or over ruling Bobo on some plays I think you will see some of the same bonehead calls that hurt us last year.....

Day later since I started this thread. Looking over some blogs on Sunday came away with this site. Just saying, look at the posting times here and there. I don't plagiarize others work. Interesting comments on the other site.
