Where is all of this love coming from for Tennessee?
VD's son beats us after one year on the job, ex-UGA players first year as head coach at Florida beating us, if that happens, folks it is going to be more than noisy in the Bulldog Nation. I am not telling you folks anything that you don't know or has not been said to this point.
Basically both of those teams are starting over, Richt has been with us for many years. Understand that our defensive side made major changes last year, should as many are saying, be much improved. Supposedly the "cancers" are gone and a notch has been cut on the defenses gun after a year in the learning process.
This offense can score on anyone in the SEC, and that includes folks like Auburn, Alabama and others. Richt better make sure that happens, and I hope he steps up the ladder further than McGarity has pushed him thus far.
We all know that this group of young men have had their eyes and ears wide open in the film room. That used to be Coach JT's main responsibility, right . . . Coach T probably "encourages" the young pups to hit the film room after his time is over with them in the weight room.
Tennessee reminds me of what UGA should have done with Florida last year. We had the players to win, however we passed up (no pun intended) a great chance to stop the cancer that has been Florida in JAX. Don't give a hoot if UT can pack over 100k in the checkerboard stadium, comes down to being in shape and playing football. Turn Russ loose to show those Blueticks a thing or two. Buc does not want to lose to Tennessee.
ogredawg, the win/loss predictions baffle me. TENNESSEE . . .
Stick with me Erk, we will get through this before I come to visit . . . .
Richt . . . . coach'em up!!
