Richt, we know you read these boards from time to time. No matter how much you say you don't, and you say you don't care what those "who haven't been in the arena" think, you have stolen too many phrases and made too many comments on subjects from these boards to convince anyone you don't read them. So, as you're reading this one, pay attention--

DO THE RIGHT THING. YOUR TIME IS UP. RESIGN.

For the good of yourself, the fans, the players, and the university. For once, put others above yourself and your paycheck.

And I have certainly been in the arena in other sports. I know a wuss when I see one.

One of Richt's comments after the game that really sounds like one he has made more than once this year.


“We’re gonna improve,” Richt said. “We’re gonna get Georgia where it belongs; 2010 is over, and 2011 is upon us, and I think everyone’s looking forward to that.”


What is the phrase that Richt is so fond of . . . "Finish the Drill". The drill is over, you need to look inward and admit it to yourself. As a leader you are judged on results. Sit down in a quiet place and reflect on your performance the last four or five years. You did that with WM and he was released based on performance, or lack thereof.


Walsh was asked where the Bulldogs go from here.

“Up. Up, up,” he said, repeating the word, then adding, “It can’t go down.”

Sorry Walsh, we have heard that same phrase for several years now, change is needed at the top, not the customary release of the assistant coach or coaches.

Time for AD McGarity to "Finish the Drill" . . . if you get my drift.

Just like everyone knows AJ isn't going to pass up on his millions, Richt isn't going to pass up on his 2.8 million. Great work if you can get it--$2.8 to do nothing other than make excuses 4 months out of the year.
