I am reading that Charlie Weiss is joining Muschamp in Gainesville as O-coordinator and the other rumor is Meyer is laying low waiting for the OSU job to open.

Brantley will get to play so real QB now, but I bet the two freshmen runners Burton and Reed look elsewhere.

I can see UM coaching at OSU. Talent rich school, (like UGA) just need a change in the coaching ranks. Meyer is a lot like Phil Jackson of NBA fame, coaches teams that have the chance to excel. Meyer was smart enough to leave UF before too many problems arose. Next stop probably OSU. He loves attention.

Picked this up from ecdawgs site. Really surprised me. Belue has all season long been throwing stuff at the wall. Most of the time he laid off of Richt, even in this article he talks around and not centered on the "problem".

"Coaching". I have made mention before on this board that I think RG should spend his time recruiting. Makes me wonder if RG and CTG are on the same page, personally, don't think so. Have no evidence, however we will soon find out. My bet is that RG does not remain as Dline coach.

Maybe some have read the site listed below, if not . . .

AD Foley strikes again. Charlie Weis. Anyone thinks that Muschamp pulled this off, oh well. This is how Foley runs the UF program. There was talk early on in Muschamp's hiring that he was bringing his Texas buddy with him. Guarantee that got squashed by Foley.

Charlie Weis is like a lot of football coaches in that some are head coaches and others are coordinators. Weis is an excellent coordinator. Richt at one time was suited to be a coordinator and VD got him to hang his hat in Athens.

This move will not only make UF stronger on offense, it will increase their recruiting base considerably. Not only Florida and Southeastern athletes, now they will pull some of the best from above the Mason/Dixon Line.

All of us know that Muschamp is special, now the missing part of the staff will be put in place on Monday.

Not gloom and doom, does however look increasingly bleak. Time to earn your money McGarity. UGA needs a leader . . . what say you.

Unfortunately, Buc,it seems, on the surface anyway, not much is going to get done under McG's watch either. I was reading an article where he was spewing the usual garbage of "disappointed in the performance of the bowl game", "we evaluate our program every day", "Richt and I speak weekly about what the program needs", and blah, blah, blah....just fill in the rest, it's the same crap we've been hearing for 5 years now.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

It is so funny, that most every new paper and every sports writer says that CMR can not turn this thing around. With the talent we are losing and not much help coming in, and with the players we have, there is not much hope for UGA next year. I guess with the AD being new, that he does not feel that he has the right to fire CMR at this time. If these powers that be would just do like most of us and look at the numbers over the past 4 years, they would see that we have gotten worse each year. CMR has lost his leadership and his nack for motoviation. I just find it hard to believe that CMR record is now worse that Donnan and they are not willing to look at a change. Lets just wait until next year, give CMR a chance to turn this thing around, we will put him on the hot seat, so he knows this is his last chance. We all get to see us play like a high school team and lost 8 or 9 games, while he gets to collect his 2.5 mil.
