Don't want to get that thread started up again but if people can't see how much a difference maker AJ is, then they are totally blind (exception.....sadlerdawg, my friend).

AJ changes EVERYTHING on the field.....EVERY phase of the game is effected. EVERY phase!!!.....even special teams.

Agreed on not starting that thread again, wlayton, but KD's post was also part of my point--just having AJ in doesn't account for him possibly getting hurt. He also missed all or parts of 3-4 games last year because of injury.

Coaches, listen up. . . . . We have a big wide receiver playing tight end now. OC would do wonders on the outside. He is not slow, and I don't want to be the DB that has to tackle OC. Just my opinion. He is being wasted at TE. We have a couple of really good TE's. Put OC in the slot, only good things will happen.

There you go again, Buc--applying common sense and reason to coaching decisions. You know Richt doesn't like that (see statement about not knowing AM could make plays with his wheels).

sadlerdawg, find it really amusing . . . . on this board we started using the word "wheels". It has traveled everywhere, including Richt. Have never, ever heard him mention "wheels" prior to Tennessee, or maybe the week before.

Naw, they don't read what is on the internet about coaching philosophy. These guys are so good, don't have to look elsewhere for any "tips". These are the folks that I love to have at the poker table. They last about long enough to wipe their noses and walk out of the casino.

Why is it that we can "suggest" good things for the team, then have the "powers that be" say, "we are staying on the same course". So much talent in Athens, wish I could say the same for the "entire" coaching staff.

Orson Charles is a stick of dynamite ready to explode . . . . wake up Bobo. Maybe ask permission from Richt first, even though you are "calling the plays".

wlayton, you know the game, you played it. OC is a "very special player". Would like for someone on this board that disagrees, to tell me what defense you play against . . . AJ, Wooten, (yes I said Wooten) OC, White, (and Lynch and Figgins). Not mentioning AM at this point.

I have been on this board for a while, and will stick by my guns. We have a player at the TE position that WILL PLAY IN THE PROS. Heaven forbid Bobo and Richt keep OC out of the game. That is what they are doing.

This is what I truly believe. The offensive side of the ball (coaching) has too much talent for the present coaches to incorporate into the game plan. AJ is great, if he leaves, who are we going to replace him with . . . . put OC in the slot, he is worth at least one game on the winning side of the ledger.

Have to say this . . . go back and look at the comments about Mettenburger and AM on this board. How many wanted to jump ship. Nothing wrong with that, all of us call it like we see it. Like KD does.

We have a receiver in OC that can light up this team the rest of this year. Don't lose him like we lost KM.

So much talent . . . . so little time . . . . wake up Bobo, and Richt.

sadlerdawg, will never forget you mentioning and pushing for some type of spread. You were so right. How can any team cover the above group, especially if you have a QB that can run or throw from the pocket. Haven't mentioned a running back in this thread yet . . . . . KM.

Sweet Baby Jesus... Air BoBo.... AJ-OC- Wooten -Durham - White - TK - five headed beast that sounds like a Chicago law firm. Can also use White and OC as a H- Back.. fun and gun part two.
We don't have a headliner back or one who can hold on to the damn ball,we have had our most success passing or the QB keeper. So what do you think UM would do if had to man up on pass coverage. Come to think AM is a faster and better passer than TT. Time to open up the play book. Speed never takes a day off. Go Dawgs
