Yeah, why not hire CP's whole staff? MAN, are they a disciplined bunch of players.
But, maybe there's a huge difference with the types of players he recruits versus these SEC recruits.......you know?

would be nice if they went after a real winner, but from history we may not. I guess Donnan had experience as a HC, just not high profile. Goff didn't, nor did Richt although he was at a high profile program. I guess you're thinking Petersen? I'd be thrilled with that - as long as he doesn't try and paint Sanford's grass blue...If UGA goes looking for a HC, they will certainly look for a PROVEN, high profile coach, not a "coach in waiting" substitute.......imo.

I have an answer for a new head Coach. We all agree that Richt doesn't have the ego/balls/mental toughness to beat Meyer and Saban.
There is one coach who does:
Jim Harbaugh from Stanford. He is a bad ass, a jerk, his players love playing for him, he runs the score up if he can, and has made an academic school like Stanford very good; he has a physical mindset. His QB may be the best in the nation.

Look I would like for CMR to change has ways, change his OC and enforce discipline so that a change wouldn't be necessary but he has so much as said that ain't going to happen, so he must go.
I mentioned Malzahn earlier but another name that comes to mind is TCU coach, Gary Patterson. Look what he has done a private school in a state that has plenty of state colleges and university plus is raided by most major schools elsewhere in the country.
I don't think Harbaugh would stay long, my gut feeling is he is hoping for a NFL job in the future.

I have said it on one other thread and will say it again. It has nothing to do with SEC, WAC or any conference. Difference is he is recruiting football players at Boise. Saban recruits FOOTBALL players. Big difference in recruiting great athletes and football players. Athleticism only goes so far. Football players have the grit, toughness and mental capacity for the game. They understand what it takes to win and leave it on the field for their team. Athletes however can be very gifted, but be missing several other of the pieces to be successful on this team. No grit, toughness, discipline and/or sense of being part of a team.
After watching our team we have some good, maybe great athletes that are trying to be successful at football. It's at this level where it gets exposed.
AM, Chapas and KD=football players
Rambo, WE and AJ=athletes playin football
Just my two cents on this.

AJ Green is a legitimate prototype WR football player.

I would just like to mention that I could compile a 1-3 record and would be more than happy to accept a modest salary of less than 1 million a year. So, please consider me for the job.
