Here's my take. I am at the point to where I do not care who the new coach will be "IF" there is a change. As long as the new coach recruits and creates FOOTBALL players. Not athletes. I see the problem right now, besides coaching, is that we have too many athletes and not FOOTBALL players. That's why we are soft, undisciplined and getting our butts handed to us.
AM and Rennie Curran are the last two FOOTBALL players I can remember on this team.

It is obvious Richt is done. He should go do some missionary work in Central America or something because he is too soft for football.
My top choices would be:
1. Kirby Smart
2. Chris Petersen
3. ???
I cannot think of anyone else right now. We need someone with some aggression. Leave the choir boys for the church.
Who would you guys like to see?
Chris Petersen??? Really? I am sure he is very capable but why would he leave a top tier team that plays in a relatively easy schedule to come to a broken program? Hate to say it but we might be stuck in this rut for a while. Our recruiting is going to take a huge hit for this type of season. I am more concerned about the next 3 years vs this year which is basically a write off.
