Who would you want for our next coach?

Chris Petersen??? Really? I am sure he is very capable but why would he leave a top tier team that plays in a relatively easy schedule to come to a broken program? Hate to say it but we might be stuck in this rut for a while. Our recruiting is going to take a huge hit for this type of season. I am more concerned about the next 3 years vs this year which is basically a write off.

The same reason Meyer left Utah, Kelly left Cincinnati and anyone else leaves a small school on the outside for a chance at the big time. BSU will always be minor leagues.

I'm still hoping for the Boise St. headcoach. I think he would excell with SEC talent. Gruden would also ge a great pick. Pure hotsauce and gunpowder.

Get CP and his whole coaching staff.

Gruden's offense is WAY too complicated for our players.....they couldn't memorize the playbook.

It pains me to have to hear the same things Tennessee fans were saying after Kiffen left.
We are clearly a poorly coached debacle of a team.
Fire them all.
I have seen more energy from a bush league baseball team.

1-Muschamp
2-Smart
3-Petersen

I said it last year, and I'll stick to it - I really want to see the Davids get involved with the program again. Not just as an after game analyst, but get involved with the coaching. Of course neither is ready to be a coordinator, but as some sort of assistant/motivator/etc. Think both Pollack and Greene could make good coaches in the long run...

Interesting that quite a few are worried about losing Richt's recruiting skills - doesn't help to recruit good players when you can't coach them properly (this goes to the coordinators/skill coaches as well as the leadership at the top).

If UGA goes looking for a HC, they will certainly look for a PROVEN, high profile coach, not a "coach in waiting" substitute.......imo.

would be nice if they went after a real winner, but from history we may not. I guess Donnan had experience as a HC, just not high profile. Goff didn't, nor did Richt although he was at a high profile program. I guess you're thinking Petersen? I'd be thrilled with that - as long as he doesn't try and paint Sanford's grass blue... ;)
