Well Lemay would have 2 years wouldn't he?

2010 is Murrays year 1. 2011 would be his year 2 while Lemay redhsirts. Then 2012 is year 3 for Murray and Year 1 for Lemay. Even if Murray stays 4 Lemay could have two years left by my very tired calculations.

yesterday was my first game between the hedges and it was an amazing experience. Murray looked impressive and reminded me a lot of Colt McCoy. He is gonna be a special player and I wouldn't count on CL coming in and taking his spot

Guess the red shirt did not come into my mind. Somehow, with all the chatter, thought maybe there was some serious doubts about AM in certain areas. I too think that AM will stay 4 years, hard to beat a QB with all of that experience and capabilities.

Guess I am lost on this one. Really hope that there is not an ego problem. HM from all indications is an outgoing dude. Appears that Christian has no doubts about his ability. (I like that) Wonder if he will be responsive to red shirt.

We are going to see more and more of this competition throughout the team, at every position. Good for us, the alumni and fans.

This quote from Bacarri Rambo impressed me. Has his head screwed on properly. Thought it was worth posting, even though many have probably read this.

Strong safety Bacarri Rambo wasn’t bothered by the words flowing from Todd Grantham’s mouth.

Not even on the third and fourth times that Georgia’s fiery new defensive coordinator screamed in his general direction on the sideline after Rambo allowed Louisiana-Lafayette’s only touchdown Saturday.

“That’s what we needed,” Rambo said. “All that talking he was doing, that yelling, that didn’t really get to me, it just motivated me to go out and make plays and make up for that play I gave up. That’s part of coaching, what he was doing.”

And, Rambo said, Grantham’s energy and anger is exactly what Georgia’s defense needed after a string of poor performances the past two seasons that led to Georgia coach Mark Richt firing three defensive assistants last December.

You are correct sir. I posted near 12:30 this morning......WAY past my bedtime. Guess I was just trying to point out the same "type" scenario developing. Actually that would be a MUCH greater scenario with CL having two years left and not one.

Then again, CL may come in and take over #2 and they won't redshirt him if he's heads and shoulders above Mason (which I believe he is).

I hereby stand corrected. ;)

I had wondered this also

That if AM/DAWGS end up haveing a very good year and HM gets to play a fair amount and is also pretty good - would CL still sign up come feb

Sounds like they really like UGA - but think they are really interested in getting him to the nfl - so think they will take whatever route they see as best come feb

Still believe HM is Joe Cox. He is no concern to CL......not in the same league.......oh........imo.

Also believe that CL believes he can beat out AM........hope we get the chance to see the competition.
